Chapter Three. :~O
^It was a nose kind of moment^
Layla's P.O.V.
I sighed, dropping my head to the table and ignoring the loud thud and the pain that followed shortly after.
If I had to describe the first three hours with these three people with only three words, I would have to say, "It is boring."
With Andrew, Sherry, Vicky, and Drake in one corner, talking about various things and laughing loudly, there really isn't anything that Brandon, Isabella, Zach, and I can do without feeling weird about it. But, I mean, there really wouldn't be anything for us to do, even if the four idiots in the corner weren't here or in the back room.
Why? You may ask.
Brandon had his head down-much like me at the moment- and was practically in tears, but he refused to talk about it. Trust me, I asked. Zach was still uninterested in what anyone was doing but himself, so he zoned out a while ago by putting his headphones to his iPod in his ear and text whoever it is was so "lucky" to be texted by him. Ten dollars he's cheating on Isabella right now. I'd probably win. I was always good at guessing who was cheating on who and who with. I'm going to say Tiffany, the other "popular" girl in Summers High School.
Oh, and Isabella was the worse! Not once have I seen her blush, avoid eye contact, and giggle so much in one night. And usually, she does it on purpose. I don't think it's on purpose right now! Her boyfriend is sitting right next to her, for Christ's sake! I don't think we've looked at each other for more than two seconds without her looking away with a smile and a little laugh while her face is as red as a tomato.
It was quite amusing, actually.
"What's it like being a model?" Isabella's voice suddenly asked, making me look up.
I swear, if she was any closer to me, we would've been kissing!
I backed away and smiled a small, but very polite, smile. "I guess it's kind of fun, but a lot of hard work. But when you're doing something you love, it isn't like work."
"You love it?" she asked, looking eager for me to talk some more.
I could see why. She's blushing like she's staring at the next best thing since bread.
"Oh, definitely." I smiled, scooting up in my seat a little.
She smiled. "Wow. I've always loved you since freshman year for me. I didn't want to come here alone, so I dragged my brother and my boyfriend. But I really wanted to meet you, you know?"
"Oh, thank you. It's been really fun meeting all of you guys so far. How long have you two been dating?" I asked.
It wasn't that I really wanted to know, it just seemed like good conversation. But the answer I got shocked the hell out of me! And I usually never cuss...too much.
"Brandon and I have been dating for three months, but we're keeping it a secret until he's ready to tell people." she said, rubbing Brandon's back. "He's a little sad right now. Him and his pity case got into a little argument."
Brandon looked up at her. "She was my friend. Not a pity case. And I'd like it if you quit calling her by that."
Wait, what? Did I hear right? Isabella and...Brandon? So Zach...is her brother? Brandon lied to me? I'm so confused.
