Ryan was... worried. Least to say he had lost something very important.
"Pete!" He decided this was one for the dog.
Ryan could hear the dog come up the stairs. Pete opened the door and looked at the younger boy.
"So...?"
"I lost an envelope with a very important letter." He said as he stood and ran his fingers through his golden messy curls.
Pete looked at the messy room, clothes every few steps, boxes out of their dusty corners.
"You mean that envelope?" Pete said after a moment of merely looking, with his droopy brown eyes.
He pointed at a pair of faded jeans in one of the clothes pile, the pair stood out perhaps because it was so faded compared to the others or because it had an envelope sticking out of the back pocket.
He scanned to confirm the reality of it, his dark brown eyes looking to see any proof it was not the letter.
It was.
He waved Pete out the room so he would be able to read the letter in peace. Pete sighed and walked out the room, closing the door behind him.On the outside of the envelope it read "From BBU , To Ryan Ross the love of my life."
The letter itself was a set of instructions for their date tommorow. It just so happened that tomorrow would it be their 6 month anniversary between Brendon and Ryan.
He opened the envelope and took out the letter. He smilies at the messy cursive.Ryan I wanted to do something special for tomorrow. So I decided this was it.
1.) Wake up at nine in the afternoon. I want you to be well rested. ♡
2.) Hang out at your house or whatever. Our date doesn't start until 6 technically. :/
3.) Wear a suit we're going somewhere fancy.
4.) Wait outside your house at 5:15 pm. Around 5:20 hopefully Gee will be there. (Hopefully you know how he loves his hair.)
5.) Walk to my house with Gee.
6.) Wait for your knight in shining armor. ;) (me)Love, Brendon. ♡
Ryan reread the letter smiling at his boyfriends writing. He could not believe he had the sweetest guy as a boyfriend. Especially not when Ryan had put him in some pretty tough spots. He was perfect.
"He's so everything."The next day Ryan woke up at nine like Brendon had told him. Then, he waited.
While he waited he hung out in the living room, where Jon, Spencer, Tyler, and Josh were all playing guitar hero. Ryan rather watch then play most of the time. He'd rather play the real thing.
After hours of watching them play they finally got tired of trying to beat each other's high scores and decided to watch movies instead. In between movies Pete brought them snacks, seeing as he was usually cooking something. (Cookies in this case)"What time is it Jon?" Ryan asked after a movie, stretching, seeing as he's been sitting in the same spot.
"A quarter to five."
"Cant you just say 4:45?" Spencer asked annoyed.
"Nope." Jon said smiling and went to the kitchen, presumably to get more cookies.Pete came out the kitchen holding a water bottle.
"Isnt it about time that you guys get ready for p-" he was cut off by a bunch of shushing and pointed glances.
"Right." He looked at Ryan and said "Isnt your date soon?"
"SHIT!" Ryan jumped out of the couch and ran upstairs, looking for the suit he had prepared earlier along with the eyeliner had decided appropriate as well.
After struggling to get everything on he speed walked to the bathroom and fixed his hair and applied the eyeliner.
He checked his phone which read 5:09 pm
He sighed in relief and walked down the stairs. He found the living room, surprisingly empty.
Except for Pete and Jon, Pete who was holding a camera.
"Just a few pictures?" He smiled and Ryan nodded.Ryan was dressed in a grey and white suit. His tie was, of course, pink.
After Pete decided he was done Ryan walked outside. To his suprise Gerard was already walking toward him.
"Was it your dad?" He smilied and looked at Ryan's outfit.
"You look snazzy."
