Chapter 5| Im Sorry

I woke up to hearing my phone buzz on my nightstand. It was a text, from Shayne.
Shayne: Hey, I need to talk to you, can we meet somewhere?
(Y/N): Sure.. Where?
Shayne: You know that diner by the park?
(Y/N): Stacys?
Shayne: Yea, meet me there @ 8:30
(Y/N): Ok, see you then.
Shayne: Bye.

It was kinda awkward being around Shayne, seeing how that he never said anything to me since the night we played truth or dare. I haven't talked to the Squad, except Courtney, for awhile now. I looked at the time, it was 7:45 now. I crawled out of my bundle of sheets, grabbed an outfit and went to the bathroom. After I took a shower I blow dried my hair and put on a thin layer of makeup. By the time I'm done, it's 8:15. So I decide to leave and head to the diner.
I get there at exactly 8:30. I see a sad looking Shayne sitting in the farthest booth. I walk over and sit down across from him.
"Hey." Shayne says.
"Hey, so why did you want me here."
"I wanted to talk about when you came over last time."
"I'm listening."
"So when i was dared to kiss anyone in the room. My thoughts went to you, but Noah decided to kiss you then. I wasn't very happy with him. So I went for Courtney. And look, I like you a lot, and I'm Sorry that I kissed her, instead of you," he says. "But I have grown feelings for Courtney.." When he says that my heart shatters into a million pieces. I start to get up but his large hand grabs my wrist.
"I'm Sorry.." Shayne says looking into my eyes. I yank my wrist away from him and barge out of the diner, with tears spilling from my eyes.
"(Y/N)! Wait!" I hear Shayne yell. I walk faster and get in my car. I drive home as fast as possible, then all I see is a truck heading straight to the side of my car , Before everything goes black.
