"Well, here's the control room," Mike announced, putting the camera down on a counter. I glanced around the small room, adrenaline pulsing through me.

The room had no windows and was lit only by a dull yellow-green glow. Static filled monitors lined the walls. A creepy clown mask was hanging on the wall above a large sealed off vent, and a creepy clock was on the wall as well. There were speakers on the ceiling and wires hanging down.

"This place looks like a wreck," Mike said, moving over to examine the monitors. I noticed a paper on the ground. I picked it up and unfolded it, eyes scanning the contents. The paper was labeled Technician's Map. The room we were in was labeled Control Module. A hallway connected the Control Module to the Elevator. To the left was labeled Ballora Gallery, and beyond that was the Breaker Room. To the right was Funtime Auditorium, and beyond that was Parts and Services. Straight ahead, presumably through the vent, was the Circus Control Room. Beyond that was the Circus Gallery.

"I'm not seeing an exit labeled on here," I said. Mike glanced over my shoulder at the map.

"It's probably in the Breaker Room," Mike decided. "But there's no need to hurry. We might as well get good footage while we're here. I want to get a good look at each of the galleries and the auditorium. Maybe some of the old animatronics will still be there."

"Do you know what actually happened to this place?" I asked Mike, folding up the map and putting it in the journal. Mike glanced around the room.

"I heard they sold a couple of animatronics to some pizza place, but that night there was a gas leak," he said. "The next morning the animatronics were sent back. The pizza place never opened. I did a little digging and found out that this place was closed down due to gas leaks and chemical leaks. No idea if the two are related."

"Maybe someone was tampering with the animatronics," I suggested. "Making them leak harmful chemicals."

"Maybe," Mike said, peering through the vent.

I opened the journal, flipping to the entry after the first one I had read. I skimmed the passage someone had written.

When it's time for me to start working, I'm the only one left in the building. I don't mind, aside from the fact that something doesn't feel right. Someone is watching me.

I now have met each of the animatronics. Ennard is kept in the Parts an Services room. They tell me he is deactivated, but I swore I saw one if his eyes light up. Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy are kept in the Funtime Auditorium. Baby is kept in the Circus Gallery, along with the dolls called Bidybab. Ballora has her own showroom where she's kept on display. When I asked why her eyes were closed even when she wasn't deactivated, my boss said it's because her eyes were pulled out for repairs and put in Parts and Services.

My boss tells me they don't lock the doors inside the building for safety purposes, so sometimes the animatronics wander. If they do, I need to get them back to their stages by turning on the power in that room. It doesn't last long, but it draws the animatronics back to their stages. There isn't very much power in the building, so the stage power automatically shuts itself off after a few minutes.

This place is full of strange things. Tonight I heard a voice whispering. It said "you don't know what we've been through."

"Mike?" I asked.

"Hm?" he said.

"I don't think this was a horror attraction. I think this was the real thing."
