The next day, I got into my light pink bikini and put shorts and a grey tshirt over it.
Being late like I usually am, I ran to the car and got in. "About time." Mason joked, pulling out of the driveway and went to go pick up everyone else.

After a while, we arrived at the beach. Danny and Mason set up the chairs while Meg and I took off our cover ups. I heard Danny whistle, which caused Mason to turn towards us.
Our eyes met and he stared at me. "Like what you see?" I asked, dropping my shirt and shorts on a chair. He blushed and then took off his shirt.

He blushed. I made Mason blush.

Is it weird that I find back muscles insanely attractive? I mean he was very in shape from football... he looked good.

"Mai, do you need a picture too?" He asked, smirking at me. I laughed, throwing sand at him. "It's on." Mason said, smiling. I sprinted towards the water where Danny and Meg were.

~ Mason's Point of View ~

I could hear Maya giggling like a little kid, making me smile. Honestly, I haven't smiled that big in a long time.

~ Maya's Point of View ~

Once I got in the water, I felt Mason's arms wrap around my stomach and his head rest on my shoulder. "You really thought you could escape me?" He whispered in my ear, making me shiver. Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted up and tossed into the water. I came back up to the surface, smirking at him. I jumped on his back and brought him down under the water with me. Once again coming back up to the surface, we laughed and just swam in place for a minute.

Is it bad that I don't want this moment to end?

Mason is smiling at me and I feel him taking in the moment too. After a minute, we went over to Meg and Danny. "You guys really do look like a couple." Danny said, winking at Mason. We both blushed lightly and Meg laughed.

"Mai?" I heard Mason say as Meg and Danny walked back to their chairs. "You look really beautiful today, and I really like hanging out with you like this... I just thought I'd let you know." He finished, making me smile. "I might lose this bet after all." I answered.

After standing and talking for a little bit, we all walked back to our chairs. "So how's Danny?" I said to Meg, nudging her. "Shut up," She replied, laughed at me. I looked over and saw Mason and Danny by the water arguing. "Want to go break this up?" Meg asked and I nodded.
We couldn't hear much until we got closer. "I told you, I'm cancelling our bet." Mason said, then noticing we were coming over. I heard Mason talking in a hushed voice, but Danny refused to whisper.

Suddenly I heard a yell. "You should be thanking me! Maya doesn't even know that I bet you to ask her out!"

What?!
He asked me out because of a bet?

Meg gasped. Mason looked at me, making Danny turn around. "Dude I didn't know that she was-" Danny began to say, but I just ran.
