Blair and Luke were best friends since first grade. They were not popular, and they were hated by the popular girls and boys, but oh, well. They would hang out with each other's friends sometimes; like Delilah and James. Those guys were cool. But then came the last day of school. In which they will graduate from high school. Yes, they are going to go to college.
"Hi, kids," announced Miss Dove, the history teacher. "Or should I say ladies or gentlemen?"
"I am not gentle!" yelled Jon, or 'Shredder'. Everyone laughed.
"Cute joke, Shredder. So, shall we go on with our history class?"
Everyone groaned. Except for Luke and Blair. They always found history fascinating. They'd learn about the wars, their backgrounds, but most of all, Earth. They felt there was something beyond Xila. And the more they heard, the more they wanted to go. Both Luke and Blair would groan when they had to leave, Blair going to social studies while Luke goes to math. All the math teacher (Mr. Mike Donald) talked about was potatoes and spoons and mine fields. The social studies teacher (Mrs. Gina Peg) was just plain creepy. She would write whatever she says down, always spelled correctly. When you interrupt her, she will give you a perfect wrinkly Internet face. Whether it was the 'I'm so lonely!' face, or any other creepy face. They were always wrinkly somewhere. Scary, right?
But anyway, the children graduated. They were supposed to go to college/university in a matter of 3 months and 3 days. Luke and Blair only needed a year in university. They were finally ready to fulfill part one their dream.
