My Girlfriends Best friend - Stelena

Chapter One

[Caroline's P.O.V]
I woke up this morning next to Stefan as always, peppy and cheery for the day. I'm captain of the cheerleading squad so being happy is basically part of my job.

I look at Stefan and see him peacefully sleeping, it's hard not to wake him because all I wanna do is kiss him. I love Stefan, he's my one true love.

I see his eyes open once and close again, his hands reach up to his eyes and he starts to rub them to wake himself up.

"Good morning sleepy head." I said as he begins to sit up.

"Good morning to you to, how did you sleep?" He asked me.

"The usual pretty good." I responded with a little giggle to my voice. I uncover myself and put on my slippers, I never really liked the cold floor on my bare feet.

"Get up." I whined, "I need to make the bed." I continued.

"Just for you!" Stefan rolled his eyes.

I walked over to him and put my hands on his face, I raised myself and gave him a passionate kiss, because I knew how much he loved to sleep in and just cuddle with me.

"Hey, I love you." I said sympathetically.

"I love you more." He told me, ahh my heart rushed so fast when he would fight with me out of who loved who more.

He was and always will be the perfect boyfriend, well maybe not the boyfriend part. Someday I dream of getting married to him, and having kids. I can tell now that he would just be the perfect father.

"Hey guess what I heard." I said.

"Caroline Forbes, is this just another one of these funny rumours you tell me I go and tell Damon, then you turn around and tell me it's not true?" He asked me that and all of a sudden I start laughing cause I remember those times.

"I couldn't tell you but I can tell you what I heard!! Apparently there is a new girl named Elena, I can already tell that we're going to be best friends." I admitted.

"And how can you tell that?" He asked.

"I just know.." I said not knowing exactly how to answer that question.

It didn't take long for us to get ready and head off to school. Mystic Falls is a small town, everyone knows everyone. So if there really is a new girl you would know.

I quickly head to my first class which is history and take my seat next to Stefan and Bonnie, Bonnie is my best friend. I would pretty much do anything for her, I mean we did grow up together.

[Stefan's P.O.V]
I still don't think Caroline's crazy theory about a new girl is right, nobody moves here because it's so small, not too much to see. But if she's right then I think we should do a lot to welcome her.

Just then my mind went blank, a girl walked in the room, she had brown straight hair and olive skin, she was wearing a red shirt with blue jeans. I wanted to say she was beautiful but I'm completely in love with Caroline.

"Told you, and stop drooling." Caroline caught me, I was a little embarrassed but I laughed. she knows me and she knows better than anyone how much I love her.

She took a seat in front of Bonnie which was diagonal from me. She took a glance at me, than back to the board. You could see a tiny smile on her face as she blushed slightly.

I look at Caroline and grab her hand I mouth 'I love you' to her and she smiles and mouths it back, I know we say I love you a lot, were just so in love.

"So class we have a new student with us today, her name is Elena Gilbert. I assume you all will do your best to welcome her into the school?" The teacher pointed out whenever a new kid came whenever he could because it didn't happen often, though I never completely understood why he never allowed them to say their name.

[Elena's P.O.V]
Everyone was staring at me, especially this blonde girl, she seems very peppy.

Then there's this boy next to her, holding his hand. He's kinda cute he was looking too, and the other girl beside the blonde.

Not knowing anybody's name made it hard for me to really focus. I wanna make friends, I'm just really bad at it, I say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

I don't know maybe the kids here really enjoy making the new people feel welcome, though I really doubt it.

The bell rings and it's time for lunch, this is the worst thing on your first day. You have no friends and there is no 'no friends' section in the cafeteria.

I was putting my books in my locker when that blonde girl and her boyfriend from earlier that we're staring came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Hi, I'm Caroline and this is my boyfriend Stefan." They introduced themselves and I finally knew some people's names! That was a start, maybe lunch didn't have to be that bad.

"I'm Elena, nice to meet you." I said, see that wasn't that bad you didn't completely and utterly make a complete fool of yourself.

"So there is this party at my place, I have it every year around Halloween time. Why don't you stop by." Stefan invited me to a party? A party invite on my first day! A smile appeared on my face and I politely accepted.

"Wanna sit with us at lunch?" Caroline seemed very nice as well as Stefan.

So I said "Sure." To her offer.

I guess it's okay being the new girl.
