When I walked in school the first person I saw was Austin. He had on this tight grey v-neck shirt with black jeans that he kind of sagged in, but I didn't care he looked nice. He walk up to me and gave me a hug. "Hi Austin. Why are you here so early?" It was only 7:20 am, school didn't start until 8:30. "The homecoming is Saturday and I asked to help decorate. I've been coming early since last Friday. Why are you here so early?" He had to flip the script didn't he? "Well, I woke up early and got a text from Shawn Gates that you guys needed help, so I said came in to help." Even more time to spend together. I wonder who he was going to take with him to the dance?
"That was nice of you! We do need a lot of help. Since we're on the subject, who are you going to homecoming with?" Was he going to ask me? "I haven't been asked by anyone yet. How about you? Who are you going with?" I hope he didn't have anyone yet, not to be selfish, but I really wanted to go with him. "No one unless,-" Oh my God he was going to ask me!!! "-You want to go with me Nevaeh?" How could I tell him no? "Yes! I would love to go with you to homecoming!" He started blushing and I think I did too cause I felt my face get hot.
"Great I'll text you so we can talk about it okay? But I think we should go help!" We laughed and walked to the gym together. We got closer to finishing when the school bell rang. We spent all day together and I loved it. We hung out after school and during school. We talked on the phone for hours and I loved it. One question just won't leave my mind though, does he like me?
