Lost Vampire

Chapter 2

*Rae POV*

I woke up with screaming. My eyes opened slowly,"What the hell man." I rose up to see a couple standing in the doorway. 

"Oh." I gave them a sly smile. 

"What are you doing in our room?!" The lady screamed at me. 

"Well, um you see..." I jumped out of the bed, changed my clothes that were now dried, and slipped on my shoes with my speed. I stood next to the window,"Sorry, but I gotta run." I gave them a smile. 

The man stepped forward, pushing his wife back,"How did you, wait.. you're one of them." He gave me a dirty look. "Ah yes the "one of them" thing... I'm a vampire. Just say it.. god it's not like I'm going to attack you." I let out a sigh. 

"Get out of here monster." The woman hissed. 

"Excuse me, I'm not a fu- you no what.. There is no point talking to a bitch." I smiled and opened the window. I looked back,"Have a great time tonight ladies." I threw up my hand in a slight wave and jumped out the window. 

The sun, harsh on my eyes, I blinked a few times letting my eyes adjust. I took off running towards the vampire kingdom. "What am I going to do when I get there?" I questioned myself. 

"They don't exactly like me.." I let out a sigh. I shook my head,"Maybe they might want me and if not, I'll leave. Hopefully."

My stomach growled causing my mind to get distracted,"I'm hungry." Since I was a hybrid I could either eat real food or blood. I usually chose real food. I really just wanted to be human but I wasn't.  "Only if I didn't snoop around those mutts pack." I hissed. 

I looked up and walked along a road for a for a while, growing tired and hungry. I let out a long sigh,"I'm hungryyyyy." I complained to no one. 

I heard a car coming behind me and I looked back to see a truck. It got closer and slowed down, a man rolled down his window,"Hey there beautiful, need a ride?" 

I let out a sigh, the whole vampire powers make you pretty can have it's up and downs. I really needed a ride but this guy is kinda creepy. Oh well,"Yes please." I gave a smile. 

"Okay darling, just get in." He smiled. 

"k."

I went to the other side of the truck and got in. The man sped off once I buckled. 

"Where are you going princess?"

What is up with the nicknames,"Um the nearest town will do." 

"Well I'm heading to town now so this is great hun." He let out a laugh. 

"That's great." I stared out the window, not caring for small chat. I didn't want to get to know this guy, just wanted to get out of here. 

"I'm going to have to pick up my son first though." He said. 

"Oh, okay. By the way my name is Rae." 

"That's a pretty name, my name is Rodger and my sons name is Ryan." He gave me a wink. 

I didn't answer, to much effort. 

"He's about your age, I mean you're what 17?" 

"Sure." 

"That's great, my son is 18." 

I let out a sigh,"Where will I sit when he gets here?" 

"Oh, in between us I guess." The man said. 

I looked outside the window, I rested my head on the glass. I could probably run to the town faster than I will with this guy, but I'm tired. I smiled at myself.
