*Rae POV*

I let out a sigh, my fangs out, my eyes a shade of red. I brushed my brown hair out of my face, strands sticking to my face.

"Damn." I hissed as I could smell a few wolves heading in my direction,"They've caught my scent." I looked around the corner of the building I was leaning against. "I'm to close to town for them to come out, it'll blow their cover even if it's late." I took off, running to the middle of the city. It's still busy for a pack of wolves to chase me here. I slowed down, letting my fangs and eyes change back to normal. My eyes a shade of blue and green. My black converse made a tapping noise as I walked down the sidewalk. I ducked my head as I walked through the crowd.

"What am I going to do..." I let out a breath, watching the cloud of air float away. It's getting colder out, I barley can feel it. I walked into my apartment building and up the few flight of stairs.

I headed towards my apartment door, I shook my head,"I can't believe I was almost caught."

"Mhm, almost." Dog scent crashed into me making me stumble.

I looked up, my eyes big. The shade changing to red, my fangs out. "No way in hell." They didn't know who they were messing with. They think they are going to easily kill this odd vampire teenage girl but they don't know anything. There was six guys standing right there in the hall, the smell of dog was strong. It flooded my senses.

"What do you guys want?" I hissed.

"We want to know why a new vampire was on our territory. Get her boys." The man in front said with a growl.

"Sorry, gotta run." I said with a smile, showing off my fangs. I gave the boys a wink, and took off in the other direction. The stairs was blocked by the dogs, and the only other way out was.. "Damn." I hissed out as I took off towards the window. My blue jeans and and grey sweater wasn't great for all this running. I could hear the men behind me scramble their way, trying to get me. I jumped through the window, glass flying everywhere. "See ya later dogs." I yelled out as I fell. I heard a woman scream, and I looked down. I jumped from the fifth floor. I landed down on the sidewalk, the woman who screamed was standing right next to me.

"How.. are you.. okay?" The woman asked.

I ducked my head,"Yes, thanks but I gotta go."

I took off running, not knowing where to go. I had to get out of this city, meaning I had to go back to the vampire kingdom. It was safer there I guess. I pushed my speed to the max, i'm one of the fastest vampires in the world. The wind rushing against my face, I smiled. I heard howling in the distance behind me causing me to jump.

"What the hell. All I did was take a walk through your territory. It's not like I wanted to." I hissed between my teeth.

"Wolves are such a drag." I mumbled.

I needed details on how fierce the new wolf pack was, they moved in a few weeks ago. They were close to my own hiding spot and I didn't feel comfortable with them lurking. I spent a few days spying when I was spot a few hours ago. And now I'm leaving my safe spot. I let out a sigh,"This is just great."

I was well away from the city now. I slowed down and took in a breath; looking for the scent of wolf. Nothing.

"Good. They've been tracking me for a little bit, I guess they gave up." I sat down next to a tree, I had no idea where I was. I was lost, in some woods.

"This is just fucking great."

"Hey there little girl." A raspy's man voice said.

I jumped up and looked to see an old man standing a few feet in front of me. How did I not pick up on his scent? "Hi..." I wasn't a little girl, I looked about 17 but I really was way older than that.
