"Hello, certainly glad you could join me today."

#1 Bob had three copies of every painting he did on his show. One for reference, one he actually filmed painting, and one he used for his how-to books.
#2 Bob's show, The Joy of Painting, has it's own official youtube channel that posts an episode of the show everyday.
#3 It only took around 2 to 3 days to shoot a full season of The Joy of Painting.
#4 Bob was so soft-spoken because he yelled so much in the military (it's practically a master sergeant's job to yell at people.) Bob made the comment that once he left the military he vowed to never yell again.
#5 The Joy of Painting was shot in Bob's basement.
#6 Bob wasn't mysterious at all. He said he was happy to do interviews but no one ever asked him to.
#7 Bob was also happy that his show put people to sleep. He called it a sort of "adult nap time."
#8 The Joy of Painting aired in America, Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
(The daddy Ross aficionado is back. Sorry I've been mia, and that this installment is short. It's nice to receive so much positive feed back.)

"Until next time I'd like to wish you happy painting, and god bless, my friend."
