The Phone Bug

Chapter 4

               "Hello, I asked you a question you dumb shit." Maddy mumbled, knocking me out of my daze.
                "Oh sorry, what was tha? And did you just call me a dumb shit??" I said still thinking about my brother.
                 "I said where do you want to go first?" Maddy said starting to get really irritated.
                 "Ummm.... I don't really care. No place too girly or a place that you would absolutely love please." I somewhat shouted.
                  "Why are you shouting at me?" She yelled at the same rate I did.
                  "I didn't really know I was shouting, I'm sorry."
                  "Don't worry about it best friend." She said lovingly. About that time we arrived at the store. We were at the mall outlet. I don't really know what's all is here so I just followed Maddy.
           "God where are you taking me?" I said a little freaked out.
            "You'll see," she said with a devious little smirk.
Oh god save me. She let go of my face and I felt the urge to run. Victoria Secret, great. I thought I told her not a place too girly. Oh my God whatever.
           We walked around the store and she picked out a pink and black lace thong and actually, a really cute bralette. She said, "I wonder what lucky little boy will see me in these." She said this with a sly look. She's been single for about a month and a half. AFTER her 4th boyfriend in 2 months. I wouldn't say my best friend was a slut.... but she's a slut.  We walked around the store a little more and I just about lost my head when I turned and bumped into a stranger.
        "Omg, I'm so sor... Lucas?" She stammered.
        "Hey princess, happy birthday! I was just getting you a birthday present."
        "Oh Lucas you didn't have to do that. "She said her face getting red.
        "Hey Ann... oooooo who's this?"she said eyeing him up and down stopping on certain parts. I stared at her in disbelief. How could she not know who he is and how could she be eyeing him like that?
         "This is Lucas. How do you not know who he is I showed you pictures and talk about him all the time."

Lucas's P.O.V.
  
         As the girls were bickering back and forth I thought how happy it made me feel to know she talks about me. I have to admit though the blonde is so damn hot but she's not as hot as the long haired brunette standing next to her. Listen okay I get she's only 15 and I'm 20 but she understands me, knows my thinking, and can help me when I need it. She's my every thought and all I can see. I hadn't realized I was staring until Annabelle was staring back.
          "Umm... Lucas I think we need to talk." She obviously saw the look on her friends face. "Alone." She said death glaring at her friend. I know I heard Annie say the blondes name. God damn it what is her name? Maylyn, Marie, Madison..... oh damn that's it she called her Maddy. I walked to the bench with Anna and sat down. 

"So what's up Anna?" 

"Okay well let's just jump into this. Why did you call me your girlfriend?"

              "Because you are! You know this! I tell you I love you every night and every time we hang up. When we're are face timing.  I tell you everywhere I see you or hear your voice. And you always say it back ALWAYS!!!!!"
          She jumped and I knew I had scared her when I yelled. Maddy came running around with a frightened look on her face. She looked scared for her best friend. Maddy looked like she was just about to say something when I glared at her and she turned away scared like. I was about to say I'm gone when Anna looked at me.
           "Im done don't talk to me ever again." I turned away and was walking when she said, "Oh and Brody was right your a fucking asshole."
