I sigh and put the note down and grab my phone from my bag and dial Elena's number after the first ring it goes to voice mail "Hay its Nora I just wanted to know if you are ok call me when you get this message ok love you" I hang up the phone and sigh. Then I realized I haven't seen Jeremy in forever I walk upstairs to his room "Hay Jer I was wondering if you wanted" I stop talking when I open the door and see he's asleep with his sketch pad in his lap I sigh and walk over to him and pick up his sketch pad and see a drawing of a wolf. I put the pad on the bedside table and grab a blanket and put it over him. I stand there and look at him for a minute a single tear rolling down my cheek I bend down and kiss his forehead "You deserve so much more than this Jer" I whisper he does deserve better him and Elena do I walk over to the door and lightly close it the I make my way to my room and stop when I see Elijah sitting in my window seat.

I ask he looks me in the eye "Because it's none of your business" he says calmly I another step toward him it is my business now "You know what, it is my business because it's my family and I am going to protect them the best that I can and if that means dying then so be it because they deserve some much better then this!"
