Lauren's POV

Hi I'm Lauren, but I'm sure you guys already know that. I am 15 Years old in looks but theoretically I am 167 years old. My father killed me, luckily there was a Katherine to save me. I miss my brothers, Damon and Stefan were the highlight to my life, I haven't seen them in 152 years. For the 15 years that I was alive as a human no one but Katherine knew what my father used to do to me. My father was abusive, he thought that having a girl with a different appendage wasn't natural, that it was disgusting, he said I ruined his family, you see he wanted all boys, people who could fight in the war and not a daughter who stays at home and does fuck all. I loved Katherine, she helped me heal my scars and bruises, she knew my deepest secret, and she loved me. But she slept with my brothers just as much as she did me. And for that I couldn't believe that she loved me like I did her. When I was around she would have a twinkle in her eye, the brightest smile on her face, she would always light up when I am around her.

The day I died, I knew Katherine was watching me and my father argue, he was talking about Katherine and not in a way that I would like him to, I stepped up and told him not to talk about her in that way, and instead of using his words he grabbed his baseball bat that he uses to play with Damon and hit me right across the face, once I was on the floor from the impact, he hit me again and again killing me from extreme damage to the head and bleeding in the brain.

As the years went by I never once stepped foot into Mystic falls, meeting new people along my journey around the world, Justin, my best friend, I met him in Canada he was turned by me, he wanted me to do it so I decided to give it to him, I didn't want to lose my best friend so I gave him eternity with me. I also met Ally, I met her in Italy, she is the mother out of the 3 of us, she helps give advice and makes us make good choices, she has been a heretic for 700 years, a heretic is a witch and a vampire. And Ally is one of the most powerful witches in the world.

I miss my life in mystic falls, my brothers, Katherine. So that is why me, Justin and Ally are moving to Mystic falls. To surprise them. Justin and Ally both agreed with me that once we move, we do it right, so we are going to High school... Again.

2 days later

I haven't seen my brothers yet, I don't want to face them just yet, but today I'm going to high school, we all are.

In history class I saw a girl, she looked beautiful, her brown eyes, her smile, her hair. She was absolutely gorgeous.

"Let's welcome our newest students Lauren, Justin and Ally to our school, be nice guys. Now you will all be partnered up to complete a 4 week project, you will need to create a PowerPoint presentation about the battle of Willow Creek, that happened in 1868," the teacher said making all the kids groan. I raised her hand getting a confused look from Mr Calvin, "Yes Lauren is there anything you don't understand?"

"No I understand the project perfectly, but the battle of willow creek was in 1864 not 1868 sir," I said smiling. Mr Calvin protested against me.

"Actually Lauren the battle happened in 1868, I am a History teacher it is my job to know the year that the battle happened, now if you could keep your thoughts to yourself that would be much appreciated."

"Well obviously you aren't doing your job right sir, if you have done your research then you would know the right date of the battle. You can't teach us the wrong date otherwise we could fail exams, and that would be all on you, the date of the battle was 1864."

"Miss Jauregui keep quiet I am the teacher you are the student, I am right-"

Mr Calvin got interrupted by Camila who happened to be the beautiful girl I was staring at. "Actually sir, Lauren's right, the battle of Willow Creek happened in 1864 it says so here on my phone," Camila looked at me and winked at me smirking a little. I smiled and looked back at Mr Calvin who look embarrassed in front of the whole class.

"Seen as you 2 are being smart arses maybe you 2 will be partners for the project, I expect an outstanding performance from you both."

I looked at Camila who was still lookin at her, " Oh we will," I smirked winking at Camila who blushed like a tomato.
