Dancing in the dark

Chapter 6

"you know this is private property" said a male voice, Emily swung round, what she saw was not what she expected to see, it was the orange hair boy. "Um... I might have seen the sign, don't worry I'll get of your property now" the boy look started "well to tell you the truth... It's not my property" " how did you know I was here then? Doesn't that mean that you are trespassing to? And why do you seem to be everywhere I go?" Emily burst out in an angry array of questions. " well" started the boy "it does in fact mean I am trespassing to, and yes as you probably assumed I was following you and the only explanation of seeing eachother all the time would be in fact fate" " FATE" yelled Emily " what a load of pig poo, just leave me alone now okay"

And with that she trotted off. She went the long way home wanting to burn off her anger , when she emerged onto the trails she road for about 5 km then grabbed out her phone.

She had 5 messages and two missed calls. "Great just great Emily murmured aloud. One miss call was from her mum and so was 2 messages. She opened the lock screen and typed in her pass code 7779, she didn't know why that was her password but she had always just liked those numbers.
The message read:
Hey darlin (with this Emily rolled her eyes)
Saw you had taken star for a ride, please be back soon we are going out to dinner with the neighbours. Great Emily thought
Anyways love you
Your mum

Emily read on to the next message it was from Stella

Hey Emi
Did you here about Grace? I'm so upset, I think this is the worse thing that could have ever happened, she was going so well at school and everything. Her parents are distraught too, and even her little brother seems to know somethings terribly wrong. Anyway just thought I'd check on you to see how school was but your not a valine at the moment

She had 3 more messages one from Katie, Christina and one from Jonty. Great thought Emily she new that her mum had probably gotten Jonty to send a message to so she put her phone back in her pocket and she cantered off home.

By the time she was home it was already dark, Maizie and Belle were already munching on there evening feeds. Emily quickly put stars rug on and made her a special feed and took her out to the paddock. Then ran inside, she was greeted by the not very pleasant sound of her mothers shouts " EMILY DAWESON WE HAVE JUST MOVED HER AND I AM TRYING TO GET TO KNOW PEOPLE BUT ITS HARD WHEN YOU ARNT HERE SO WE CANT GO OUT TO DINNER" "wow mum it's okay we can just go another day" "YES THAT IS EXACTY WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO BUT GUESS WHAT WE CANT GO OUT TO DINNER BECAUSE IT WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME BOOKING AND WE CANT RESCHEDULE" " sorry mum but I tried to get home as quick as possible and I didn't even know that we were going out" Emily was getting more angry by the minute. "I'm going to bed then" and with that Emily stomped up stairs, she took a quick shower, and sat on her bed and brushed her hair. Oh my god why did we have to move here she thought to herself.
