What Now?

      I woke up, staring at a ceiling that I wasn't used to. I looked to my side and saw Cameron sleeping right next to me. We were both naked. Last night was incredible. I thought about how amazing it was then realized the drama that was put aside. Sex can't solve problems. I was nervous and didn't feel well thinking about it. I tried getting up quietly but the bed squeaked and Cameron heard me. He opened his eyes.
      "What you doing baby?" Cameron said.
      "Just getting dressed." I said. I got up and saw my dirty clothes on the floor. I put them on. Cameron stood up and put some clothes on too.
      "You hungry?" Cameron asked.
      "Yes." I replied. I sat down at the counter tops while Cameron made omelets for the two of us.
      "Cameron..."
      "What?" He asked.
      "We still need to talk about this Shawn thing." I said
      "What do you mean?" Cameron asked.
      "Stop being so oblivious! Tell him the truth. You can't have both of us Cameron. You either like me or him." I said.
      "Idk..." Cameron said.
      "You don't know?!" I said angrily. I stood up. "Well you better figure it out really quick." I started walking towards the door.
      "Skylar wait!"
      "Call me when you make up your mind." I said and left the house. I stormed home. My body was mixed with so many emotions. I love Cameron dearly but can't date him if he still has feelings for Shawn.
      A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I answered.
      "You forgot your omelet." Cameron said.
      "Thanks..." I said. Cameron invited himself in and sat down on my couch. He was texting someone. I looked, hoping it wasn't Shawn. It was his friend Nash. "Are you going to say something?!"
      "I like you, not Shawn." Cameron said.
      "Are you sure? No feelings? Nada?"
      "Yes. I like you, just you."
      "How did your feelings for Shawn just disappear like that. And why do you like me, we broke up a long time ago."
      "I never had feelings for Shawn, I can't get over you. Letting you go was the biggest mistake of my life." I smiled. Cameron was about to kiss me when I stopped him.
      "Wait, you need to call Shawn and tell him the truth." I said.
      "You're right." Cameron said. He dialed his phone and waited for an answer.
Shawn : Hello?
Cameron : Hey Shawn it's me Cam.
Shawn : Oh good, I've been waiting for this call for a while.
Cameron : Um no it's probably not exactly what you want to hear...
Shawn : Go on then.
Cameron : Shawn, this whole time I haven't had feelings for you. Losing Skylar was a horrible mistake. I could never make my feelings towards her go away. I thought having a boyfriend would be a great distraction from her but it was clearly not. I'm sorry that I hurt you, but it feels good to finally tell the truth.
(There was a pause)
Shawn : Wow. I can't believe this. Just because it's easy for you to break up with me, doesn't mean it is easy for me. I actually had feelings for you, I'm the one that is hurt.
Cameron : I know. But don't cry. Be a man.
      Cameron hung up. My eyes became watery because of how much he loved me. He hugged me so tight that I could barely breathe. I loved being in Cameron's arms again. It was a great feeling, the best feeling anyone can have.
