Nerd Gone Bad

Chapter 2

'Yeah, i'm alright. Perhaps it's the hot weather' i faked a laugh.

  Bernice gave me a weird look but then she continued babbling about what she'd learn during English lesson. '.... and we also learnt about different ways to make our essays even better!' surprisingly,i wasnt as interested in what she was talking about as i would usually be. I convinced myself that it was the warm weather's fault even thought deep down inside,i knew that that wasnt the case.

The rest of the day passed by quickly and by the time i knew it,it was already the last period, history-my favourite! I know it's quite weird for me to favour History but it really is very interesting to know what our ancestors did and how we can learn from their mistakes. Yeah,i bet you'll be thinking to yourself how nerdy i sound,but hey, i'm a nerdddddd!

  Today, Mrs Bradley started a new chapter on China's history. What Mrs Bradley was teaching,i already knew - because of the library of course! So,i began daydreaming. I dont usually daydream during classes especially History but perhaps i was really bored. You must be thinking how can a nerd feel bored during classes but it is a fact, and you've got to accept it.

  I felt my hands go down Nathan's abs and damn,they felt great. He took his hand and forced me to look at his sky blue, beautiful eyes. I looked down his face, observing his features as i did so and came to his lips. 'Oh, those pale red lips,i wondered how they would feel like against mine.' wondering and wondering, i didnt know i had been staring at his lips for quite some time. And before i knew it, BAM! Nathan leaned in and kissed me. I could feel the sparks fly and he began becoming a little rough as the kiss became more passionate. And then i realised, my first kiss. OH MY GOD. I lost my first kiss to Nathan. The Nathan.

  'Sarah! Sarah!!' I could hear Mrs Bradley's voice calling out to me but i didnt know why she would do that in the middle of me kissing Nathan.

Oh. I realised.

  I had been daydreaming this whole time and to make it worse i had actually been kissing my pencil case this whole time. And the whole class witnessed it. oh why why why did i have to embarrass myself like that? I felt the heat went up and i began blushing. Really badly. It was without doubt that i would be a laughing stock for the rest of my life. I may be exaggerating but that was really the most embarrasing thing i'd done in my high school life. And believe me when i say i've done alot.

  Finally, school ended and i walked towards my locker, trying my very best to ignore those snickers and murmuring.

' OH EM GEE. LOOK! That's the girl who kissed her own pencil case!' i heard a girl gossiping rather loudly to her fellow gossipers as they walked pass me and giggled.

  ' i bet she lost her first kiss to her pencil case,'  Bryan chuckled as the rest of his clique chuckled after him. sheeps. I thought.

  I saw Nathan in that clique who also chuckled. But too my surprise, it didnt sound like a real chuckle. I'm not trying to comfort myself but that was really what it was. It seemed as though he faked his chuckle.

  I quickly paced myself to my own locker and dumped my books in it. 'zzzz' my iphone vibrated and it was from a random number: ' Meet me under the staircase,beside the canteen' the message said. whaaaat? my mind was thinking of all the people who would want to meet me and i concluded that it could only be either teachers,or alice and bernice but i saved their numbers so it's the teachers,i guessed. But why would a teacher want to meet me at such a weird place?I wanted to send a message to that anonymous person asking who he or she was but my phone had no credit. Great. Perfect timing.

  Trying to be as invisible as i possibly could,i made my way towards the place stated in the message. I was already filled to the brim with curiosity as to who wanted to meet me.

  When i got to the location,i was shocked to see the only person standing before my eyes.

Nathan.
