". . . and every time I kiss you baby I can hear the sound of breaking down . . ."
- Reflections by The Neighborhood

"Are you okay?" Seungkwan asks me. I choose to ignore him and continue to watch the movie playing on the television screen. He's been throwing popcorn at me for about ten minutes now, but he can't aim for his life and has missed every shot. It's kind of sad, to be honest.

"You haven't been talking all day. You've just been," he pauses to find the correct word, "moping around really." I shrug, ultimately ignoring him again. I know he's concerned for me. He even went as far as to follow me home. But, I just don't feel like talking. Or breathing.

Seungkwan elbows me, hoping that'd get a reaction out of me. "Ouch," I say, in the most monotone voice ever. Maybe now he'll decide to leave me to my lonesome. Oh, but of course I am wrong. This is Boo Seungkwan we're talking about. "And he speaks!" He shouts dramatically. "This whole day I thought the cat had your tongue. Thankfully, you just proved me wrong. Who else would be willing to put up with me?" He rambles as if I actually care. Then, Seungkwan just stares at me. He reaches out for my hand and holds it. After I show no resistance, he proceeds to give it a squeeze.

"Tell me what's wrong," he says, all the playfulness has disappeared from his tone. I sigh, wanting desperately to run away from voicing my feelings. But this is my best friend and I haven't actually spoken to him in a while.
