"Dawson radio Chicago Med ASAP tell them what we've got coming and ask for Doctor Rhodes to be prepared"Brett ordered calmly, she knew everyone was in complete shock. No one more the Dawson and Severide though.

Chicago Med POV:
Maggie answered the phone in the ED
"Chicago Med ED, what's your incoming"
"This is ambulance 61 we are about 10 minutes out, with a serviley injured firefighter, please will you have doctor Rhodes onstandby ready for our arrival."
Just then Maggie heard over the radio.
"Dawson inform them that we have had to intubate him, and that he has started bleeding out of his nose but has not remained unconscious." Jimmy frantically tould Dawson with a remorseful tone "
Dawson tried her to bite back the tears that were stinging her eyes.
"Okay, Okay"
"It's okay Dawson, I hered" Maggie said in a soft tone, she knew that everyone who worked at firehouse 51 was a family so she knew that if was of them was injured it would be like a biological brother being injured.
Just then Doctor Rhodes walked up to the nurse's station asking whs was going to be his next case.
"What you got for me, Maggie?"
" Prep trauma 4 we've got incoming, an injured firefighter."
"Dawson how many minutes out are you?"
"About 2 minutes"
"Okay on standby"
"Maggie it's Matt"
"Okay"
Rhodes saw Maggie's face drop
"What's happening"
"The injured firefighter is Lutenent Matthew Casey"
Just then Dawson spoke in to the radio " Just pulled up outside"
'Okay we're ready"
"Will, with me!"Connor Ordered as the ED doors burst open and the madness unfolded.
"What we got?"Connor asked taking charge.
Jimmy took Charge in informing the on Casey's condition
"This is Lutenent Matthew Casey, 37 year old, was involved in a fire caused Building collapse, and fell from the 4 floor in to the basement. Was originally consusness and able to make his own way out of the building. However was asking the Chif about the condition of enougher one of our guys who was also involved in the building collapse, lost consusness shortly after making of the building and his condition has faded extremely fast, he regained consusness about 20 minutes ago then lost it again after about a minute, had to sezuises and vomited twice and we had to intubatehim in route.

They got the gurney in to the tramer room
Rhodes "on my count, 1...2...3 transfer"
and Matt's limp body was quickly wisped on to the table and the gurney given back to paramedics.
"Right I need a full blood count, fast scan of chest, abdominal and pelvic cavities, I also need 3 units of O neg with a further 5 units crossed matched on the rapid transfuser , Chest X-ray and head, neck and spinal CTs SAT" Connor spoke to the small room crowed with medical personal
"Will we need to anthitis him to prevent any more swelling to his brain.
Fast scaner is here doctor Rhodes
"Okay give it to me"
With in seconds Connor was scanning Matt's abdomen for signs of internal injuries
"Dam it, his belly's full of free fluid, it looks like he's ruptured his spleen, he's going to need emergency surgery, Okay, Will while I scan his pelvis I need you to scan his chest"
"Okay, Rhodes"
" Okay, pelvic cavity look good I don't see any free fluid in here"
Connor looks back at Will and sees his eyes grow extremely wide.
"What is it, Will, what do you see?"
"Torn right lung, and blood in the bag around his heart"
"Okay, Maggie, call for a nuro-sergant and and anithiolisist to meet us in the OR, give me a minute to go and tell his family what's on and then we'll get him up there. Will your with me"

Then the two doctors lave the small tramar room and go to the waiting room to tell the anxious members of firehouse 51 about the condition of one of their own
They entered the small waiting room full of concerned firefighters
Gabby saw the two doctors come in to the room waiting room with glum expressions on their faces she got the attention of the rest of 51 and the Chif and Severide strode over to her wait to her the much anticipated news about her boyfriend.
"How's he doing? " she asked with an air of trepidation to her voice.
Conner was the first speak "Dawson, Boden and Severide, will you follow me in to a more private room please?" This simple sentence struck fear in to the heart of all of the firefighters, they knew the protocol and for them to be asked to be spokento privately could only mean one thing - it was bad news.
Dawson spoke up then tears streaming down here face " I'm his girlfriend and we are all his family so whatever you have to say to us in private can be said in front of us all please Connor."
"Gabby, you know the rules, you know I can't." Connor told them
"No, I know that you can't tell anyone but family about his condition, and we are all his family, so you can tell all of us about his condition" Dawson answered back in truth. Conner bowed his head, rubbed his hands over his face, gluped,relifted his head, noded then looked over at Will who was still stode in the doorway " very well then, Will get the door, and everyone take a seat."
Connor and Will both walked over to the last two empty chairs in the small room.
Conner spoke up " Okay so I regret to inform you all that Matt's in critical condition, you see he's bleeding internal and has got an head injury, we about to take him up for emergency surgery, I sergest that you contact the rest of his family."
