Chapter two : little unsteady

Alister didn't have the best life but he never complained ever. Alister took a deep breath before walking into the house that stunk of hard alcohol he sighs and shakes his head kicking the beer cans out of his way as he walks inside
" Alister !" His mothers angry drunken voice filled the air he sighs and walked to her
" what ?" He looks at her letting his back pack slid to the ground
" don't you what me you ungrateful little brat !" She held cigaret in her left hand
" I got a call from the school today what have I told you about fight !" She got up in his face , he just stands there and takes it he was screamed at for thirty minutes before she slapped him and just walked away , Alisters mind went blanket as he walked up stairs grabbed a lighter and a couple of small bombs before he walks out off to burn something.
The next day Cassie happily walked to school off to look for Alister he wasn't that bad he did protect her after all finally she spots him sitting on a bench she slowly sat next to him smiling brightly
" hey Al- wait what happen to you ?!" She stands up and looks at him he had a dark bruise on his face he looked away
" nothing happened " he sighs a little Cassie slowly sat back with him
" Alister is something going on ?" She asked concerned , he never answered not for a long time he just shook his head she didn't like this something was wrong
" come one I wanna show you something " she grabs his hand not being shy as she slowly pulled him away from the school. Alister looks confused
" but aren't you like all about the school ?" He looks back for a second before Following her along he didn't really care he wasn't in the mood
" I am but one day won't hurt anything im sure " she shrugs and pulled him along into the woods
" is this when you kill me ? Because you can like just do it already " he said half joking not even realizing they where holding hands still
" just be quiet " Cassie laughs squeezing his hand a little before she continues to walk along with him stopping when she got to a tree house , her and her mother had built it just a couple months before he mother passed away Alister looks up impressed but he still didn't speak he didn't want to.
" come on " she climbs up the later first before waiting for him taking his hand and helping him up the rest of the way.
" now tell me what happened ... Only if you want of course " she sat on the bed and pulled him down to sit as well he didn't want to look at her so he didn't
" please Alister " she slowly reached over and took his hand he wrinkles his nose and swallows hard closing his eyes tightly his body shakes for a moment before he let her hand to and covers his face not wanting her to see the tears, she frowns when she saw his body start to shake
" Al ?" She took both of his hands and slowly pulled then away from his face seeing the tears
" oh Alister " she put her arms around him and hugged him close holding him gently
" she hits me a lot " he said quietly as he leaned lightly against her liking her kind soft touch
" it's alright it's going to be okay " Cassie hesitated a little before putting her fingers through his black soft have
" shh it's okay " she reassured him , it wasn't long before he stopped crying and just sniffles she smiles a little and pets his head softly it wasn't long before she heard soft snores she looked down and giggles seeing him asleep
" how sweet " she found herself blushing and she shook her head it would never happen , she snapped her self out of it and just watched him happily her smile never left her lips once .
