Cassie had thought a lot after Alister had left that night she made sure to tell him if anything went wrong to come to the tree house , it was now a safe house . Cassie slowly walked into Math class looking around like usual Alister was sitting in the back corner if class and like usual she sat right up front her hands folded in front of herself class was going good nice and quiet until she heard a couple muffled coughs from the back she turned around and peaks , Alister coughs into his hoodie sleeve roughly she had studied many books about being a doctor it's what she wanted to do when she grew up , and she could tell he was close to an Asthma attack . Alister hated his inhaler it made him feel weak to use it so he tried to tough it out but his chest just got tighter every second he had to use it and now before he passed out but not in front of everyone . Cassie saw what he was doing why he was hesitating so much
" Mr. Clark ! My presentation is ready !" She raised her hand shaking it lightly , and just like that the teacher called her up and she happily walked up to the teachers desk and started to talk happily , Alister took the time to take a couple quick puffs of his inhaler before he hides it away and relaxed she had just saved his ass and he was thankful for that , ever since last night he couldn't get that sweet face out of his head it was imprinted in his mind the was she spoke , the way her touch gave him butterflies , but he knew it would never last she wouldn't want the guy who has been arrested tree times and is only 17 by the time he was twenty he would be arrested for good probably .
When school was over he wonders out of the class room and sighs a little as he started home
" Alister !!" Cassie runs to catch up with him finally making it to his side looking around happily shivering a little from the cold
" wanna hang out ?" A bright smile goes over her face
" we can go to the mall and get coco !" She giggled looking up at him with bright happy eyes , he just looked down at that sweet face and smiles a little for once .
" sounds nice actrully " he nods a bit watching her shiver a little , he shrugged out of his jacket and put it over her shoulders slowly he knew it was cheesy but girls liked that right ? She looks up at him and smiles a bit he was such a sweetie maybe just a little misunderstood.
" you don't have to do that you might get cold " she looked at him he shook his head
" no it's okay im not cold " he nods a little Cassie slipped into the jacket as she walked along with him she pulled the sleeve over her hand and put it to her mouth covering half her face like always slowly smelling the jacket surprised at the smell it didn't smell like smoke or weed or Alcohol it smelled like lavender she tilts her head confused before she smiles a little . Cassie walked into the diner with Alister by her side ordering two hot chocolate happily the little waitress walked out waving hi to Cassie who was a regular at the diner but when she saw Alister she frowns and glares
" Cassandra what are you doing with him , he's a mistake waiting to happen ! " Alister looked offended
" why thank you " he smirks a little she just glared
" you could do better than this loser Cassie " she walked away Cassie just looked at Alistsr with wide eyes
" im so sorry " he shook his head and sips at his hot chocolate happily
" eh I get it a lot " he looks around at the stores
"Let's see " he cracked his knuckles
" I've been kicked out of there , and there , defiantly there" he laughs
" well as long as your with me there will no be getting kicked out of places " she nods Alister pouts
" no fun " he sighs a little and looked around , it wasn't long before the two where walking out again Alister yawns a little he never did get much sleep at home the crazy lady that raised him never let him sleep but napping God he loved napping so much. Cassie looked at him concerned when he looked so tired all of the sudden
" what's wrong why are you so tired ? Oh god am I boring you ! Im so sorry !" Alister laughs and quickly shakes his head
" no no ! Im not bored I just don't sleep a lot at home I never have the chance to" he sighs a little and looks down
" well come on we can go to the tree house I can do homework and you can nap sound good ?" She tilts her head Alister looks at her
" napping sounds fun " he nods , she smiles brightly and took his hand leading him into the woods.
