Grayson holds Alexa throughout the film. She insisted they see an alien one this time. She clutches onto Grayson's shirt in fear as another ugly alien pops onto the screen. A few high pitch squeals follow from other women.

Alexa buries her head into the crook of Grayson's neck. "This is too scary." Grayson, being the perfect gentleman, carries Alexa out of the theater. They walk, hand in hand, to Alexa's home, where he left his car.

It's a long walk, and Grayson decides that now is the perfect time to have a heart to heart with Alexa. "How do you feel about kids?"

"I love them," she answers honestly. Alexa really does love children, always has and always will. "But I fear the day I have one of my own."

"Why is that?"

Alexa squeezes Grayson's hand. She knows why he's bringing up the subject almost randomly. "Because what if I don't live up to my destiny? Men have it easy, you aren't given an almost impossible task and are expected to have it completely finished without a certain amount of time. If I'm not a good mother I'm not only disappointing myself, but God. . ." She hesitates for a moment before looking into Grayson's eyes". . . and you."

Grayson stops their walking and cups both sides of her face. Tears fall down her face without her permission. The overwhelming thought that she'd disappoint Grayson consumes her. The two aren't married and she's already concerned with giving Grayson children.

"You're going to be the best mother, especially since we're getting married."

Alexa stops breathing. She must've heard him wrong. Did he say they're getting married? Grayson grabs her hand again and makes the two walk away, but Alexa stops them again.

"I'm sorry, what?"  Her voice comes out far too panicked for her liking. "We're getting married?"

Grayson shrugs. He knows how frustrating it is for Alexa when somebody doesn't give her a direct answer.

"Grayson," she whines at his lack of answer. He laughs at her under his breath. She slumps and starts the walk home, alone. Grayson jumps into action at the sound of her feet pattering away. He winds his arms around her waist and picks her to from behind. She squeals in surprise. "Grayson!"

"I love you, Dollface."

"I love you."

Grayson buries his face in her neck. "Good, because as of right now--," he pauses to pull the velvet pouch from his pocket, "we're engaged. In a month's time you'll be Missus Dollface Ryker. In three months time we'll find out your pregnant. And in a years time we'll have our first child."

Alexa melts into Grayson's arms.
