That day took forever to end. I learned that the whole week took forever to end and we were back to a beautiful friday. I hate school, but friday's I can bare with. Everyone is done with the week even teachers they could care less what you do in there class.
"Wake up, Heathens. I have some fun new news for you all today," I lift my head off my desk looking to Alex then back to the front of the room where a girl who look very familiar stood. "We finally have a new face around her. Now you don't have to only see each others face every morning isn't that just dandy. Introduce yourself," He says to her with a creepy smile on his face.
She wasn't nervous of speaking up she just was hesitant with Mr. Greene which every girl should be. He just gives off that Rapist vibe. She looks from him with a fake smile to the class.
"Hi I'm Carley Rave," She said in a powerful voice. It took a second, but then it all clicked. I knew her from when my parents forced me to be a teacher at a camp two years ago. I taught kids how to play guitar at a little sleep away camp for songwriters and instrument players.
She was a councillor there and was only there because her parents made her also. She struggles to the back of the room and I grab her attention as quickly as I could.
"Hey CM, You remember me?" I say with a smile opening my arms and standing up. She takes one long look at me and her eye flashed open as a smile sprints onto her face.
"Oh my god, Nikki?" She says, giving me a hug. She sits down at the table next to Alex and I the table is usually full from some guy flirting with either Alex or I, but she was a better replacement.
"What are you doing here?" I ask and she shakes her head rolling her eyes.
"My dad again got moved for his job. He said this is our last move, but honestly who cares this is my last year of High School anyways," She says. Alex clears her throat obviously gesturing for me to introduce her.
"Oh, Carley this is Alex. Alex, this is Carley. We met Two summers back when I had to go work at the Camp," I say, Alex smiles shaking her hand.
"Honestly what are you doing here though. You guys have enough money to live in a mansion on the beach why are you in montana?" I ask.
"I don't know I don't want to know either. I know we have enough money for it, but my mom wants me to use it and take a off year after High School. 'You have to go backpacking through the country' she says," Carley mimiks.
"Hey if you go take me with you," I say and she smiles and nods. I plan on taking a off year also. Well I am, I am already committed to UC Berkeley, but for the class of '21.
"He also got offered to go to Chicago! Why didn't he take Chicago. I guess it doesn't matter though at least I can finish out my last two months in a school where I actually know people," She says looking around the class.
"That is a plus," I say with a smile as home room ends and everyone is off to class.
I Didn't pay much attention in class that much I just had something on my mind. Well it's the same thing that is always on my mind. Travel, but this was different I could get money to go travel by my mom and during my off year work with my dad to pay them off or to pay Carley back.
The idea was stuck in my head as I went from class to class and then to lunch sitting down next to Lucas, Alex, and Ryan. I smale comes on my face as I grab Carley's wrist before she walks past us. She sits across the table from me next to Alex.
