Seating change

"Marinette! Your going to be late for school, again". Marinette's mother called. Marinette pulled the blanket over her head and moaned. Maybe I should just homeschool instead, she thought, ugh but then I wouldn't see Adrian.
Marinette sighed and got out of bed. She walked over to her bathroom and had a shower, got into her normal school clothes and walked downstairs for breakfast.

As Marinette walked down stairs her mother asked "What do you want for breakfast Marinette?" Marinette took her seat on a stool and looked at what was laid in front of her. A bowl of cereal, croissants, fruit and yogurt, and lastly toast. She grabbed a bowl of cereal and began to dig in.

When Marinette finished breakfast her dad walked through the front door. "Papa, what are you doing? Don't you need to be in the bakery?"
Papa laughed and hugged Marinette. "Well I couldn't let my Marinette go to school without her bag!"
He pulled out her bag from behind his back and held it out in front of Marinette.
"Oh papa thank you! I was worried I had left it at school!"
"Haha no worries, just pay attention to where you put things"
"Okay papa. Alright I am going to go to school, have a good day!"

As Marinette walked into school Alya rushed forwards towards her, "Marinette you wouldn't guess what I just heard," Alya quickly grabbed Marinette and locked them into a spare room, "Adrian likes someone!!!"
Alys screamed. Marinette just stared at Alya. "Okay Marinette I don't think you heard me. HE LIKES SOMEONE! He might like you!" Alyas words finally sinked in and Marinette finally realized what she was saying. "HE LIKES SOMEONE?!! OMG who does he like?! Oh no do you think it's Chloè? Oh I bet it is her, she is so pretty and she has known Adrian from when they were little. You know it wouldn't surprise me if they did start dating. Oh Alya. What am I going to do?"

Marinette rested her head on Alyas shoulder.
Oh I bet he has taken her on all these beautiful dates and has confessed his love for her. His father probably actually likes Chloè and approves of the relationship, well if they are dating that is, but if they are I will never get to tell Adrian I like him and I will die alone with only Tikki to keep me company!!
"Oh Marinette don't worry", Marinette looked up from Alyas shoulder, "there is Nooo way he could like Chloè. He practically said he hated her. If he likes anyone it has to be you!"

The school bell rang and Alya and Marinette made their way towards class. "Alya, how do you know it isn't just a rumor?"
Alya looked at Marinette mischievously, "Well my dear friend, as I am dating Nino, and Nino is Adrain's best friend and he tells him everything he told him he liked someone!! And of course Nino told me at once so that I could tell you!!!"
This does make sense
Marinette thought
"Okay that's makes sense, but why didn't Adrian tell Nino who he likes?" Marinette asked as they walked into the classroom.
"I don't know Marinette, Nino doesn't either, but I guess Adrian will tell Nino when he's ready."
"I guess your right." Said Marinette as she took her seat in the second row.

The class was almost over when Adrian stumbled into class. "Sorry I'm late Miss Bustier, the photo shoot went overtime."

"Thank you Adrian, at least you have a valid reason for being late unlike some people in this class, Marinette."

Adrian quickly slid into the sear next to Nino while the whole class started to laugh at Marinette's expense. When the class was laughing, Ayla slipped a note to Nino but was caught by Miss Bustier.
Miss Bustier read the note silently while the class quickly quieted down to hear what she had to say.

"Well Alya I have to say I did not know that you and Nino are dating! But now that you are you seem much more interested in passing love notes than copying the notes that are on the board." The class burst out laughing again at Alyas and Ninos romance.

Alya turned bright red and ducked her head down. Miss Bustier started to talk again, "Now because I am a nice teacher I will change your seats so that you and Nino can sit together, so that maybe you too can maybe get some work done if you aren't constantly passing notes." Alya started to pack up her books, "You and Adrian can change seats."

Marinette snapped her head in Alyas direction, her eyes going wide with fright and excitement. Alya, what have you done?! She thought. Alya stood up and walked over the where Adrian had just been sitting. There was a loud bang as Adrian's books hit the desk floor.

Marinette stole a side on glance and saw that Adrians face was blank. Marinette quickly looked back to her books and continued writing.

Well, pardon my French, but fuck. What am I going to do?!
