school project

"Thank you mama!" Marinette shouted as she jumped out of the car. "Your welcome. Apologize to your teacher if your late!"
Marinette ran up the stairs to her classroom and managed to slide into her seat just as the bell rang.
"That was close Marinette." Said Alya from the front row. "I know i know, its just that i keep on having this dream..."
"What dream?" Adrian said.
Marinette turned to look at Adrian. He didnt look as put together as usual. He had bags under his eyes and looked like he had just got out of bed.
"Oh just some stupid dream. Its nothing."
Alya smiled, "no its not 'nothing', whag happened in your dream?" Marinette looked at Alya and sighed.
"Fine but dont laugh. It had me...and you Adrian," said Marinette as she turned to quickly look at Adrian. "And...well theres more but im not saying and if we dont shut up we will all get in trouble."
Marientte turned to her book and began to sketch on the side of a page.

Miss Bustier walked into the classroom and got strait to business.

"Now class todays lesson will be a bit different. We will be begining our end of year projects!" The whole class shares a groan. Marinette and Adrian stay silent, not paying attention to what is happening around them. "Now to make things alot simpler, youll be patnered up with the person sitting next to you. And your project will be about your partner. Their likes, dislikes, hobbies exectera. You'll have too weeks to complete the project and you will present it either has a speech or a powerpoint presintantio."

Alya whirred around to look at Marinette. "Marinette why are you not screaming right now?!" Marinette looked up at Alya "what?"

"Marinette your patnered up with Adrian!" Marinettes face was blanc as she possessed the news. Her eyes slowly widened at the realization that she was going to do a school project, on Adrian!!!

"Alya what am i going to do?! He doesn't even like me!!"

Alya thought about this for a moment, then her face broke out into a brilliant smile. "Well your going to use this opportunity to your advantage. Its a project literally about Adrian! It means you HAVE to get to know him!! Its exactly what youve been needing!"
"But Alya..."

"Hey Marinette you ready to start this project?" Marinette turned to look at Adrian. Even with eye bags and messy hair he still manged to look sexy. His eyes were so green, Marinette thought, almost like...

"Um Marinette? Are you okay?" Adrian looked conceringly at marinette. "What? Um yeah! Haha im fine just tired....cause you know dream and stuff. Yeah but yes! Um im sorry what were you saying?"
Adrian just laughed and patted Marinettes shoulder. Marinette instantly flushed red. "I was just saying are you ready to start the project," Adrian smiled "because we are going to be seeing alot of each other." Marinette looked up and smiled slightly, "Yeah i guess we will..." Marinette looked into his eyes and saw that the had that smiling, kind look to them. She could look into those eyes for years and never get tired of that perfect spring green. Adrians eyes quickly looked down to her lips and back to her face. He put his hand on her hand. "Marinette..." Marinette looked down to their hands and then back to Adrian. "Yes..." Adrian started to lean forward, Marinette moving to meet him. Marinette saw Adrian close his eyes...and then. "Marinette heres your assignment sheet...oh!" Marinette and Adrian jumped apart, turning scarlet red. "Ahhhhh thanks." Mumbled Marinette as Miss Bustier handed her her paper. Marinette let her bangs fall into her eyes, but she could still see Alya and Nino starting at her and Adrian.
Adrian scratched the back of his head and said "umm..we should um...start?" Marinette looked out from under her bangs. "Um yeah sure." As they started to ask questions about each other, the only thing Marinette could think about was did Adrian and I almost kiss?
