Marinettes secret

Alya and Marinette were sighlent as they walked out of the school grounds. Alya looked at Marinette knowingly. "Hey...just dont freak out thisafternoon, okay?"
Marinette looked up from under her bangs. "Whats happening this afternoon?" Marientte couldnt remember organizing anything with Alya or her parents. "Mari Mari Mari. Your going to have to do your project with Adrian." Marinettes eyes widened in realization and groaned. "Nooooo. Its going to be so awkward!" Marinette let her head drop onto Alyas shoulder. Alya started to stroke Marinettes shoulder. "Well to make it less awkard just ask to study at his house. You dont want him seeing your magazine clippings do you?" Marinette just groaned again. "Why does this stuff always happen to me?" Before Alya could answer Marinettes felt a small tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Adrian standing awkardly, looking down at the ground.

Marinette quietly sighed. "Hey Adrian, do you want to study at yours today?" Adrian looked up, thankful for the idea. "Yeah my house! Okay great well do you want to come strait to mine or go to your house before hand?" Alya gave Marinette a small push towards Adrian. "Haha um sure yeah no ill just go strait with you." Marinette smiled at Adrian. Adrian smiled back, "Okay lets go!" He grabbed Marinettes hand and entiwined their fingers, leading her towards his car.

After class finished with Miss Bustier Adrian and Nino walked out towards Marinette and Alya. Nino looked at Adrian, "Dude whats up with you and Marinette?" Adrian shrugged "I dont. I...this feeling just came over me. Like i thought she was...nevermind"
Nino nudged him in the ribs.
"I think youve got a crush man. Your totally whipped. All you do is talk about her. Marinette this and Marinette that. And i know she likes you, Alya said so."

Adrian whirrled around to look at Nino. "She what?!" Nino studdenly went stiff, realizing what he had done. "Haha nothing nothing at all. Hows your dad. Is he good? You know you should come over some time to get out of that house. Out of the bad atmosphere." Adrian grabbed the front of Ninos shirt. "Marinette, likes me. Yes?" Nino tried to pull away, "Ummm well she um...." Adrian raised an eyebrow, "She-is-totaly-and-utterly-in-love-with-you-and-is-only-awkard-around-you-because-she-doesnt-think-you-like-her!!" Nino clapped a hand over his mouth, realzing he has done exactly what Alya told him NOT to do.
Adrian let go of Ninos shirt and turned to look at Marinette. He turned back to Nino, a big smile on his face. "Thanks man." He clapped Nino on the shoulder and walked over to where Marinette and Alya were standing. Suddenly, he got really nervous. He didnt know how to act around her. Before he knew it he was behind Marinette. He lightly tapped her shoulder, looking down to his feet, his face flushing bright red. She turned around and said "Hey Adrian, do you want to study at yours today?" Adrian looked up relived that she had decided to forget the almost kiss. "Yeah my house! Okay great well do you want to come strait to mine or go to your house before hand?" Adrian saw Alya give Marinette a little shove towards him. "Haha um sure yeah no ill just go strait with you." Marinette smiled slightly at him, her cheeks flushing a light rosy pink. Adrian smiled at this, "Okay lets go!" With new found confidence and knowledge that she did actully like him, he grabbed her hand and entiwined their fingers. From the coner of his eye he could see her blush perfusly. He smiled to himself as he led them towards the car.
