Chapter 6

After seeing the dragons we all headed up to our rooms. I think I really bonded with Krissy and Brady. They are great people. Although they do seem familiar....

"Thanks for inviting us to see the dragons Brady." I thanked.... again. "I really loved them they are so freaking cool!" 

Brady chuckled and nodded his head.
"I'm glad you liked them I can teach you how to ride a dragon if you want."

"Yes please!!!" I yelled hugging him tight. "Thank you thank you!"

He froze before returning the hug.
"It's okay"

"Bye Danny." I said after realising Brady. Danny looked a little jealous so I gave him a quick peck on the lips.

He smiled down at me.

"I love you." Danny whispered

"I love you too." I whispered back and then we went our separate ways.

Me and Krissy were silent as we made our way down the hall.

"So you really like him don't you?" She asked breaking the silence.

"Who? Danny? Well yeah he's my boyfriend." I replied a tiny bit confused.

She nodded her head and we dove back into the silence.

This time it was me who broke it.

"So do destinies have to go through the power ceremony that the eternals go through?" I asked.

"Yes we do."

"We?"I asked

"Oh didn't we tell you?"

"Tell me what?" I asked confused.

"Me and Brady came from the academy."

"Oh you did!!!" I said then I frowned. "I'm sorry if I can't remember you I can't remember anything before my 16th birthday."

Kristina seemed sad.

"It's okay." She said. "I don't think you knew us."

Finally we reach our room.

"So when is this ceremony then?" I asked her,

"Tomorrow."

"Well then I have time to introduce you to the others!" I said with a wink, then pulled her out of the room.

As we neared the dinning hall I saw the back of Alison's head.

"Hey Ali!" I yelled.

She turned round and let out a sigh of relief.

"I was looking for you everywhere Ave!" She said smiling, she then turned her gaze to Kristina. "Is she your room mate?"

"Oh yes she's called Kristina you can call her Krissy"

"Hi I'm Alison although everyone calls me Ali."

"Hello." Kristina said timidly.

"Where's your roommate?" I asked Ali,

"Well I don't have one they....um died last year," she said uncertainly.

"How old are you when you graduate?" I asked Krissy.

"You don't you either die or take part in a war or the war then you are free." She answered.

I shivered so this place is basically a prison.

"Let's go find Amy and Amelia." Ali said. "I'm sure they are already in there pigging out."

We laughed and followed Ali inside dining hall. Where sure enough Amy and Amelia were sat at a free table.

"Guys over here!" They yelled.

Me and Ali rushed forwards and I pulled Kristina with me.

"Hey Kristina." The twins said simultaneously.

"H-how do they know my name?" She asked a little scared. I'm not surprised those two can be creepy when they want to be.

"They are mind." Chase said as he and Oscar sat down.

"And who invited you to sit on this table?" I said with a glare directed at Oscar.

He put his hands up.

"I did babe calm down." Danny said from behind me sliding an arm around my back and sitting in the space next to me.

Brady sat next to his sister.

"Hi Brady." The twins said again.

"You guys seriously need to stop doing that!" I chuckled.

Everybody laughed and for once I felt at home.
