Chapter 15

Third person's POV

Chaerin and Hana walked out of the toilet and you exited the cubicle. That voice was familiar, but you couldn't remember who the voice belonged to. But whoever the person was, you wanted to protect the victim even though you didn't know who they were talking about. You stared at your reflection on the mirror and splashed cold water on your face. You can't even protect yourself, so why protect others? However, there was reason why you wanted to protect others. Until now, it's still your biggest secret. You went out of the toilet but was surprised to see Hanbin standing outside of the ladies. You stopped in your tracks and stared at him for a while. You scanned his side view. His sharp jawline, it was still there. He turned to you and caught you staring at him. You looked away, clearing your throat. You walked pasr him, as if he was never there. He looked at you as you walked past him. He was somehow disappointed. Somehow. You went to your locker to take your books for the next class before making your way back to class. You sat down, waiting for the homeroom teacher to come in. Chaerin smiled slightly at you before sitting down next to you. You immediately became small in front of her. You wished that you could change seats. Soon, your homeroom teacher came in and started the class.

"Okay class, since the term is ending soon, the school had prepared an MT trip for all of you. It would be held on the last week of school. We hope that it would an enjoyable holiday for you." Your ears opened upon hearing the MT word. You were excited but worried at the same time. You were worried that you'll be alone. It was the 2nd last week of school which meant that it was one week away from the MT. But you thought of Hanbin. Maybe it was your chance to get close to him again. The class ended and other teachers came in to start lessons and soon, it was the end of school. You walked out of class, surprised to see the iKON members waiting for someone outside. You thought they were waiting for Hanbin so you just bid them goodbye and walked past them. Yunhyeong grabbed you by the wrist and smiled at you.

"Let's go and play. Shall we?" You looked at him in the eyes. He wasn't joking, you could tell. You laughed awkwardly. It was still awkeard, perhaps you're the one overreacting.

"Bobby's coming along too so let's go? It's a friday come onn." You bit your lips.

"Uh-"

"We take that as a yes!" Chanwoo exclaimed and grabbed you away from Yunhyeong before pulling you away, with the rest of the members behind. Well, they weren't as bad as you thought. You guys made your way to the nearby arcade and started to have fun. It has been long since you had so much fun. You played crazily with the boys and your fun and innocent nature came out. Chanwoo was good at games while Yunhyeong sucked. You laughed at their crazy antics, especially Bobby. He kept smiling at you with his eyesmile and made you laugh. You laughed till your eyes sweat. It was as if they made your worries go away.

"Hey noona, let's go fix your phone." Junhoe said to you when you guys were getting ice cream.

"Wh-" Oh. My phone. You thought. You and Junhoe made your way to the phone shop, making the rest wait at the ice cream store. After the guy fixed your phone, you turned it on and saw 6 missed calls from your mother and 4 messages from her.

11.45am
Come home early tonight. Hanbin's parents and us have to discuss about the marriage preparations. Hanbin's mum told him about it already.

4.55pm
Where are you? We are meeting at 6.30 today. Come home soon.

5.30pm
Park Chaeyoung, answer your phone! Why are you not picking up? Did something happen?

6.30pm

We are all here except for you. Come to XX restaurant when you see this message.

You looked at your watch, it was 7.30pm. 1 hour after the meeting time. You cursed loudly and everyone started to stare at you. You didn't care. You ran away, leaving Junhoe in shock. It was the peak hour and there was a heavy traffic jam. You knew that you were in trouble. Big trouble. You tapped your fingers on your lap nervously. By the time you got to the restaurant, it was already 8.15pm. You ran into the restaurant, ignoring all those stares. You were in a mess. Your hair was messy, so was your uniform and you were panting heavily. You saw the glare from your mother's eyes. You bowed 90 degrees at them, apologising.

"My phone dropped on the floor today and it spolied, so I didn't see the message. I'm so sorry." You bowed again, waiting for a reply.

"It's okay, sit down dear." Hanbin's mom told you and you took a seat beside your parents, facing Hanbin.

Your POV

He must be mad at me for being late. Shit. I cursed internally.

"Okay, shall we start?" Dad started the conversation. Me and Hanbin were getting 'married' this Sunday. We signed the engagement certificate a few days ago, so we are officially a married couple.

"Can I ask something before we start?" I looked up upon hearing his voice. I looked at him in curiousity.

"We are able to divorce after a year right?" I felt a sharp stab in my chest. It was as if his words were made up of knives, coming straight at me. Shock was clearly written on our parents' faces.

"Le-Let's not talk about this first Hanbin." His dad was clearly taken aback by his question. He apologised by bowing slightly and I stared at him while our parents discussed about the marriage. After the long talk, we went back to our own home. I got a harsh lashing by my parents for being late but I didn't really care. I went back to my room and cleaned up myself before lying on my bed. Our parents wanted to give us a honeymoon but both of us objected because of the MT. I closed my eyes, wondering what will happen after our marriage.

hey guys!!! It 's a really boring chapter but i promise you guys that the next chapter would be more interesting as the main characters would go on a MT trip and Chaeyoung and Hanbin would finally get married. So yeahhh. I realised that my votes for the story is really going down by alot but i really cannot think of what to write. I'm sorry for the late update :-(( Btw, i went to the ikon concert in my country recently and all of them were SUPER GOOD LOOKING AND HANBIN TRIED TO LOOK FOR ME WHEN I CALLED HIS NAME HOW GREAT IS THAT.
