Adeline's POV

I'm casually scrolling through my Instagram while waiting at the bus stop. I look up from my phone to see if Ize is around. I don't see him anywhere but my mum said that he would be here. I look back down at my phone and like a few posts that showed up in my feed. Still no sign of Isaac...I hope he's coming...

Isaac's POV

I basically sprint to the bus stop since I'm so late, my backpack jostling on my shoulders. As I come nearer to the stop I see Addy looking down at her phone and I slow down to a jog. When I get even closer I see she's completely immersed in her phone so I decide to sneak up on her.

Adeline's POV

"Boo!" I hear a shout from behind me and hands on my shoulders.
"Ahh!" I scream, almost dropping my phone. "What the...Isaac?" I'm pissed at him but he just gives me a cheeky grin. I laugh but then it gets awkward. Ah yes, my inexperience with social situations. This may seem stereotypical, but since I'm an only child I don't have much experience with other children, since most of my childhood was made up of me going to adult dinner partys and having nothing to do but listen to adults talk.
"Well are you excited for school?" He asks breaking the tension. I feel my anxiety kicking in and I don't know why. I've known this boy since kindergarten, for goodness sake!
"Sure," I say while slightly giggling, trying to be less awkward. "Another year in hell, am I right?" He laughs and I do too. Even though that was a really bad joke...whatever. If he laughs at it, it's probably not that bad. Right?

More writing! You guys really wanted me to write more so I was like, why not? I'm sorry if the chapters are really short so if you want them longer please tell me. Also, what's your guys favourite song/songs at the moment? I'm completely obsessed with Heathens by TØP or Pacify Her by Melanie Martinez.
