NICHOLAS'S POV
All this happened because of Oliver. He should've told me that he's bringing her to that restaurant. I'd stay a kilometer away from where she was. And to top it off Barbara is soo clingy! Did she have to hug me only when she, my wife was there, and I, like a fool held on to her thinking that she's hurt. Thank God I moved out of that place, otherwise she wouldn't even think before kissing me. Who was she? No one important!
EVELYN'S POV
Where the hell am I? This white place looks like a fucking hospital!
"We are in my private jet?" Nicholas answered guessing the question my mind.
"What?!" I abruptly got up from my sleeping position. I looked around me confirming what he said. "Where are we going?" I asked him.
"You forgot? I asked to pack your clothes for our honeymoon remember?" He asked making me gasp.
"But...... bu-" I stopped myself. I myself don't know what I want. I did want to go enjoy my honeymoon, roaming around alone with my hubby, spending time with him, without any disturbance. Not anymore. Not after I saw him with that girl, I don't know what to think now. I thought you take a vow for an entire lifetime or rather eternity... to stay loyal, and to take care of each other, no matter what the conditions or circumstances are.... hmph! All hopes smashed!
"Where?" I asked instead.
"Well... we're going to Cuba. We'll be there in another two hours... we didn't actually have much time. And you know Daniel's in Greece with your friend. So, we can't go there and I'm sure you've already seen everything there." he said. Actually... not really. My parents never took me out, since I used to dress up so badly, it was like a humiliation to them to have a daughter like me.
"Okay." I said and went back to sleep covering my face with the blanket as I still had a mild headache. I heard a sigh escape him. Who cares! I'm tired myself.
After a few hours, I guess an hour or two... he woke me up saying we reached our destination. We arrived at the airport, he thrust the sunglasses into my hand and pulled me by the waist along with him. I understood why when we got outside. A huge group with cameras throwing questions at us. It was only a glance as Nick hugged me tight covering my face from them. I was pushed into a car and he slid in beside me.
"This is why I tried to postpone our honeymoon. Side effects of it" He said looking forward. He didn't have to bring me here. I could have just stayed home.
"I never asked you to bring me here. You could have just told me that this is what will happen, I would've understood" I said in a soft voice. I was in no mood fight with him regarding that women. It's not like I didn't know, I was expecting this. But not so soon. It's just about the trust, that he broke so easily. I don't know if I should be angry at him or myself for trusting him so blindly.
"You didn't?" He asked with a glint of amusement in his eyes. Ugh!
"Listen-" I started but he cut me off.
"Yes, we are here. Shall we?" He said offering me his hand. At the same time the guard standing opened the door for me. I got out as though I never saw him offering his hand.
I saw a pretty girl waiting for us at the door and asked her if she could show me to my room and help me unpack as she happily obliged. Ok... that was all to escape.
I seriously thought this was some hotel, with so many floors and rooms. "Did you like the place?" Nick asked from behind me. I was waiting for him at the dinner table. It seems he was caught up with his 'business call'. Like he wants me to believe that. I didn't answer to that and waited for his minions to serve the food. It was delicious... whatever that was. It had a spicy, tangy taste to it with a touch of Mexican style roasted chicken. Just what I needed. Yummm....
