The last thing I needed for my life to be complete was a boyfriend. I've been going out every night to find the one. All of my friends kept telling me to use those stupid dating apps. If there is one thing I will never do in my life it is using dating apps. I am doing it the old fashioned way, because I don't trust everyone on those apps. While I went out every night I also took Blue with me, because I think it is so sad for him to be all alone at home and he could help me find someone. After a month I found someone special. Someone who has the same interests as me and a love for dogs. His name is Kevin. On the day that we met my heart was beating like a drum. I fell in love with him immediately. I knew from that moment that he is the one. The day after we met we had our first date and it was like the 4th of July. It was perfect. He bought me dinner at this cute Italian restaurant, he took me to the movies and he kissed me on my cheek. A week later we had our second date and the week after our second date we had our third date. Our third date was perfect. For the first time we kissed each other on the lips. It felt so good. It felt right to kiss a man. He also asked me to be his boyfriend and I said yes. From the inside I was dying of happiness, but on the outside I kept it cool. Kevin was my first boyfriend and I was the happiest on earth. My life was finally complete. Now it was time for a new adventure. A new chapter in my life. The first thing I did was introducing him to my mom and to my friends. Apparently my friends knew who he was, but they didn't tell me from where they knew him. My mother was so happy for me and she loved Kevin. She described him as a sweet, kind and loving human being. Time flew by and it was my 19th birthday. This time I've kept it simple. The party was at my house, I invited my best friends, my boyfriend and my mom. I baked a cake, bought some snacks and soda, decorated the place and put on music and it was an amazing relaxed birthday party. My friends also got to meet Blue and the loved him. They even brought gifts for him and my heart melted. It was so sweet of them to get something for him. Life is great.
