Chapter 4: First Date

Today was another school day! I put on my casual and headed out the door. I saw Lindsay, I waved and ran to her without feeling sick. Lindsay i cam- then I realized she was crying. What happened? I asked. Jay broke up with me! She said. I hugged her tightly. All of sudden her phone rang, she whipped away the tears and answered it. 3 minutes later she looked at me as if she wanted something I said what. Grace we are friends right? She asked. I said yes. Can I spend a week at your place? Sure sure of course. I replied. When I said that she hugged me and stopped crying and started smiling. Thank you thank you thank you! Lindsay said. Soon the bus was here and this time we sat next to each other and started chatting. Of course I didn't talk about gossip. We were, but I would end it quickly. Soon we were at school I saw Jay and he wasn't at boxing, I walked over to talk to him. Hey Jay, what happened between you and boxing. All of sudden I saw a sign that said "Bailey High School Prom" and Corey walked over to me. Hey Grace, how are you? Said Corey. I said good. Soon he grabbed my hand and he asked me to prom. I did something that most girls will probably do. So I faked passed out. Jay walked away when Corey grabbed my hand and Corey ran. Lindsay came and I said to her ear quietly I'm faking it. Lindsay was a good friend. Don't worry she's fine I'll take her to the nurse. Lindsay yelled. Lindsay toke me to the court yard alo. Lindsay find a girl for Corey. I said. Ok. Said Lindsay.
