Zion leaned against a tree and slumped down to sit. The little girl sat cross legged in front of Zion.

"Let me get this straight....." Zion said trying to figure out just what was going on. "You woke up out here and have no memory of what happened before?"

"Yes." The girl said plainly.

"How long have you been out here?"

"Two months I think..."

"You haven't bothered to use your wings to fly around and find shelter."

The girl paused for a bit and turned her head slightly. A long silence followed.

"I have wings?" She finally said in disbelief.

Zion did a mental facepalm and just shook his head. "What is your name little girl."

She'd look at Zion with completely innocent eyes. Her eyes were a dark purple, her clothes, a black dress with gold details. She had no shoes on and the clothes were quite torn. The details on her clothes looked like ancient writing which Zion found familiar. She brushed a stray piece of black hair from her face. "I don't know."

"Hmmm well, I can't just leave you out here....."

Zion looked up at the tree, and thought to himself. "Shayla said the owner didn't mind having people in need at his home....." He'd look back to where the little girl was sitting to notice she wasn't there.

A few seconds later a hand made basket would fall on his head and various tree fruits fell around him. Zion looked up to meet eyes with the little girl. Her head sticking out of a makeshift tree house.

"Sorry Mister." She'd duck back in and came back out with another basket. She'd float down to Zion. "You want something to eat?" She'd ask.

"So you can use your wings...." Zion picked up a fruit and took a bite.

"Wings?" She'd say then turned her head to the side. "Oh.....I have wings..."

Zion smiled a bit. "Weird girl."

"Oh my goodness, she's adorable!" Shayla said immediately as Zion showed up at the house with the small winged girl. "C'mon sweetie get inside, I'll make some tea."

The little girl walked right in taking in the sight of her new home. Zion walked in after stopping in front of Shayla and leaning down to her ear. He explained to her how he found her in the forest and how she seems to have no memory of before coming out there.

"She's also a bit.... Clueless and forgets things quick from what I noticed...." Zion said the patted Shayla on the head. "Think you two should get along just fine." Shayla smiled.

"A www Zi.......you know we wil–" Shayla's smile dropped. "What do you mean by that!"

Zion smirked for a moment then headed upstairs. The little girl had walked into the kitchen, inspecting every last detail of the room. "Oooooh what's this...." She opened the fridge and felt the cold breeze coming from it.
"A winter maker!" She giggled taking in the coolness of it all. Shayla walked in and smiled.
"Well then little one, I'm Shayla Sinkari, Just call me Miss Shayla darlin'."

The little girl looked over at Shayla for a few seconds then went back to giggling into the fridge. "Miss Shayla." She giggled out. "What's this winter maker thing?"

"It's fridge, it's where we store food so they don't rot or grow mold" Shayla kneeled down next to the girl. " So sweetie, do you know your name?"

The little girl closed the fridge and turned to look at Shayla. She'd stare blankly for a while. "Name?......" She muttered at last. "I don't know what that is..."

Shayla stared at the girl in disbelief, how would someone not have or know what a name? "Well, a name is what other people call you, usually given to you by your parents."

The little girl again gave a look of confusion. "Pa-reents..? I don't know what those are."

"...wow, she has it bad." Shayla bowed her head and proceeded to think. "No memories at all...." She got up and yelled out. "Zion! We are naming the child!"

"Alright, what we naming her?" Zion yell back from upstairs.

Shayla kneeled down in front of the girl once again. The girl looked at her as Shayla did. Shayla noticed her pretty purple eyes and knew right away what to name her.

"Honey, how do you like the name Iris."

"Iris....iris...." She said the last one in a wondering tone. "Iris is my name." She said as a statement but came out sounding like a question.

"So you like Iris then." Shayla said with a smile.
"Zion!" She yelled out. "Her name is Iris!"

"Alright!"

"My names Iris...." She held her head down and looked at her palms.

Later that night at the club Zion once again came out to have a few drinks. Since Shayla was working they brought Iris with them. Iris sat in the back table booth with Zion, who usually say at the bar.  The work board was posted close to the table, a few guys stood in front of it. Zion listened closely on the conversation without intention.

"Think about it, this job is literally the easiest of them all." The first guy said. He was dressed in a brown leather jacket, leather boots, and grayish brown pants. All he had under the jacket was a white tank top. The other guy next to him seemed to be an acquaintance. He had similar outfit, only his was all grey with a fedora to match.

"C'mon man if the job's easy then the pay is shit."

"Ah, but look at the prices though. This one is a little over thirty grand. That's a nice sum for this task."

"What's the task?"

"A wanted poster, dead or alive for a little girl."

At this point Zion's full attention shot towards these guys. Not only his attention was brought upon them but a mysterious figure walked in, directing full attention towards these men.

The man was about six feet, wearing a cloak with gold details. His hands where hidden within the long sleeves. He had one sword strapped to his back and a strange set of guns. Then man walked up to the guys slowly, each step taken the less the others talked. He reached the guys and the whole room grew silent. The guys both stared at the man.

"Ummm excuse yo-" The guy was cut off but the man raising a hand I front of his face. The man reached for the wanted paper, he brought it close to the opening of his hood and examined it. At this point Iris started giggling, she was in the process of drawing a picture but her hands had more color on them than the paper.  The guy in the cloak turned his attention to her. He walked over, looking the paper up in down. Zion glared at the guy the whole time. The man reached the table and appeared to stare at Iris. He slowly reached for his sword. Zion stood up abruptly. A layer of ice formed on his fist.

The man stopped, turned his attention towards Zion. Zion was ready to fight at any given time. Iris was still giggling care free unaware of what was happening. The guy's face could barely be made out, and it appeared he had goggles on. He looked Zion dead in the eye.

"You have no idea who she is....." Then walked out of the bar at the same pace he came in. Shayla felt the tension in the room as the guy walked out. She gave a worried look at Zion who was looking back at her.

Thing are about to go so wrong.
