Angst Poem #4

They say that because we have more then them
They say that our words outnumber theirs
They say we hold them underneath our thumbs
They say of our nature they must beware
Yet so loud their voices; our voices drown
Yet so right their words; our words are so wrong
And underneath their thumbs are our ripped gowns;
To prove their nature; to prove they are strong
Because we can make tears and they glitter
But should they cry; their tears must be of steel
Because we're told spitters are quitters
And they're taught that before them we'll kneel
Are we not all human, don't we bleed red
So why is 'being equal' never said
