Hey guys,
I've had his idea brewing in my head for quite some time and I thought it couldn't hurt to turn it into an actual story. So here I am, writing my first original Wattpad story. I guess you might be able to tell, but I'm sticking with my favorite theme; mermaids.
The main character is a curious 16-year-old mermaid named June, who spends most her days on the island watching the humans. She lives with her mother in the South Pacific Pod but wishes for more than an average mermaid life. When June's curiosity gets the best of her, a wizard places a curse on her mother, making her brother born without a tail. June makes the decision to follow her mother to the surface and help raise the child.
I don't really want to give too much away because I'm hoping this book can be really cool and detailed but it's mainly about June trying to fix her mistakes and break her brother's curse so she can return to the sea. All while learning about life above the waves.
I hope you guys like the story, I'm really excited about it! Perhaps, if this story is successful, I might consider posting more original stories? Maybe a sequel? I probably shouldn't get too ahead of myself.
