A soft humming sounded by my head, squinting my eyes against the harsh light I let out a slight yawn before turning in my boyfriends arms.
"Good morning, beautiful." He murmured against the crown of my head. Mumbling a response I curled tighter against his chest, a warm feeling seeping through my body and arrowed straight toward my heart. Smiling at the familiar feeling I lifted my head and kissed him straight on the lips. "Mmm, morning breath." He teased quietly making me flush and skitter towards the bathroom.
"Jerk." I mumbled as I squeezed some of the toothpaste onto my pink brush, turning on the water I dipped the bristles and paste under then quickly shoved into my mouth to rid myself of the horrid smell of death and the texture of cat fur off my tongue. After finishing that I put my wild hair into a messy bun and sauntered lazily back into the room. "What's on the agenda today, baby?" I stretched and eyed Mason curiously. He lifted his eyes and sighed before standing.
"Enrollment. We have to get ready for senior year. It'll be the best one yet." He grinned and wrapped his arms around my waist before lifting me up and twirling me around making me squeal. Pushing him away after he set me down I hustled toward the door while slipping on his hoodie.
"Gotta get home and finish my paperwork then. Call me when you're ready and I'll be outside waiting." I explained then leaned forward and pressed a light kiss to his lips before slipping out of his room and bounding down the stairs and to my car in his driveway. Opening the door I slid inside and checked my phone, I had received a text from my mom, quickly reading it and sending a quick text back, I set off for home.
🦄Finishing the last page of my enrollment form sent a surge of relief through me. Looking up I watched my mom as she danced around the kitchen and smiled to myself, standing I jumped in on her dancing and hip bumped her as I flipped the eggs while she handled the bacon. Twirling I shoved some bread slices into the toaster before shimmying past mom and towards the fridge where I pulled out milk and Orange juice. Placing them on the counter I grabbed a plate and placed all the eggs into a pile in the center. Placing the plate on the table I moved on to the sausage. Mom had left to wake up dad and i was left alone in the kitchen to finish up Breakfast. Hearing a wolf whistle I jumped and spun quickly.
"Mason!" I gasped, placing a hand over my heart before noticing the toast was done. Giving him a look I buttered the toast and popped four more into the slots. Quickly turning the sausage, I hustled toward my boyfriend. "Miss me already?" I teased, a smile tugging at the corner of my lips.
"Absolutely, I wake up next to you and the next instant you're gone, Oh, by the way, have you finished the paperwork?" I nodded my head and motioned toward the completed form on the table before slipping out of his arms to place everything on the table. Placing down the last cup Mom and dad made an appearance.
"Mason, honey! Good morning!" Mom gushed, she loved Mason, dad on the other hand glared at him. "How's work? Why are you here so early? What did you and Taiya do lastnight?" She fired questions at him making him laugh.
"Mom," he soothed, "one question at a time, and work is.. work," he lowered his gaze awkwardly before meeting moms eyes again, "I'm here because today is last day of enrollment and Taiya and I need to turn in our forms. We watched finding dory lastnight while eating chinese food, then we passed out." He grinned cheekily and I watched as his eyes brightened. Digging into the food I quickly munched it down as did Mason. "Breakfast is wonderful, My love." He murmured against my ear before pressing a soft kiss to my nose.
"Thank you." I beamed happily before placing Mason and I's plates and glasses into the sink. Passing by my dad I pressed a kiss to his cheek before pressing one to moms cheek. "We'll be back later, do you guys need anything while we're out and about?" I questioned.
"No, we're fine here, sweetie. Hurry before they close the doors." Smiling I nodded and made my way out to Masons car.
"Ready for this?" He grinned at me.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I said nervously.
