Powers in Shadows of Stars are not limited to one specific strength or form. Some Wielders are born naturally strong, while others have to train and tire easily. Power can be amplified using the Ancient Stones or can even from a burst of emotion from the Wielder. In some cases, a Wielder is born with too strong of a power that can manifest itself without intention.
Listed below are different types of powers mentioned in the book and the different forms they can take.
WATER & ICE

-Water and ice go hand-in-hand, but Wielders of water and/or ice cannot necessarily wield both.
-Water Wielders can only manipulate and generate water in its liquid form.
-Ice Wielders can freeze water, but cannot generate water.
-If a water or ice Wielder possesses an aqualyte stone, their powers magnify and broaden. Ex: water Wielders can also wield ice, and vice versa.
FIRE

-All fire Wielders can generate a flame.
-The strongest fire Wielders have blue flames.
-A fire Wielder cannot be burned
-If a fire Wielder possesses a fyro stone, their powers magnify.
