"Spectre 2? Spectre 2. I want the crew on a meeting." Hera hears Ahsoka on her communicator. "Roger that," she says and continues "Where are we going?" "Outside the ship. Rex and I are waiting." Then the transmission stops. Hera rolls her chair around and looks at her crew. "I quess we are going outside," she says and stands up. "Someone now needs to go wake Kanan up."she continues. Ezra stands up and rans to Kanans cabin and pokes him awake "Wha-?"he asks. "Ahsoka calls us to a meeting" Ezra explains "C'moon now!"and he runs of f Kanans cabin. "Hope we aren't goin' on a mission," Zeb says to Ezra when they are walking towards the doors.Hera and Sabine are the first ones outside. Then Zeb and Ezra chasing Chopper down the ramp and then Kanan walks down sleepy, 'cause he had the night watch turn and his sleep was interrupted by the meeting. Hera is the first one to notice that Ahsoka and Rex aren't alone.
There is a third one. He looks old and has a scar over his face. The stranger turns around and looks up to the ghost crew. Hera can now see that he is another clone. Other start noticing him too. Ahsoka starts talking "Good morning. Are you ready for some bad news? she asks. "Not really," Hera says. "We have lost another squadron to the Empire. And now I am going to ask more help from senator Organa... " The stranger is looking at Kanan. Kanan doesn't even notice him, because he is too focused what Ahsoka is saying. The stranger looked confused. The ponytail was the first thing that cought his attencion. And then there were his eyes. They were just the colour he remembered them. "...and soon I hopefully return with more troops."Ahsoka finished. Then she looked at Rex, who understanded the hint and took the strangers shoulder but he shook the hand off. He then took a step forward and then his quiet and crackling voice asked "Caleb?" Kanan winced and when he sees the strangers face his eyes widened with fear. "Grey,"Kanan whispered and took a step back. "No, don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." "And tell me one reason why I should thrust YOU ?" Grey looked down and sigh. "The things you said. You didn't betray me. It was me. She...was not a traitor. She was my hero. Your hero. And I...thought...I thought I lost you. "Grey whispered. Kanan looked at the ground. Then he lifted his head up sighed and said "You aren't wrong. You have lost me. Caleb Dume is dead. Just like his master." Then he turned away and walked away. The crew were looking at the fight a bit confused. Who is Caleb? And who in the Force is this guy? "Wait!" Grey shouted and ran towards him. Kanan turned around and looked the old man. "Who are you, if you are not Caleb? Why to deny him? Why is he dead?" Grey shouted "The Empire wanted him dead not me. I am Kanan Jarrus and Caleb was dead on the same moment Master Billaba did!" Kanan shouted and then looked down "I didn't want to kill her. And the only reasons I am here are the words you said to me and the things I have done because of them. I killed them! I killed Styles and the other clones, and just before that friend of yours hit the trigger I ran to the escape pod. I woke up in the middle of nowhere. And I thought I...I thought that you are gone. That I never get to apolge. And I don't even care if you don't forgive me, I understand she was so dear to you." Grey says quietly with pain on his voice. "Grey," Kanan said. "You. You truly are back. I thought I, I killed you. I..." he lied his hand on Greys shoulder and then hugged him thightly. "I thought I lost you too." said Gray. Then Grey let go and said "You've grown" "Of course I am! What it has been? Fifteen years! What you expected?" Kanan said and gave him a smirk. "Well, it looks like I can't call you Kid anymore. " Grey said. "Excuse me, who are you?"Ezra asked and Grey turned around. "I'm Grey CC-1004. Who are you youngling?" Grey answerd and looked at the boy's electric blue eyes. "I'm Ezra. Ezra Bridger. And not a youngling!" "He is my padawan" said Kanan. "A Padawan! A Padawan! You are his master? Our kid is a Jedi master!" Grey shouted and hugged Kanan who looked a bit annoyed about the situation. "She would have been proud" Grey said nearly whispering. Then he let go of Kanan and walked and scanned Ezra with his eyes. "But where in the Force is your braid?" "My what?" Ezra asked "The symbol of a padawan is a braid" said Grey. "Cal-Kanan, why doesn't he have a braid?" Grey asked Kanan. "Do I really look like I want to get him killed because of it?" he anwerd. "Well padawan, you do have a lightsaber, dont you?" Grey smirked "Of course he has a lightsaber. He is my padawan." Kanan said, and Grey laughed. "You teaching. It's hard to imagine you teaching. I just remember that Kid head full of questons always getting himself into trouble." "I promised I trained him. He opened master Billabas Holocron." Ezra looked at Kanan confused. He had no idea it has once been Kanans Masters. "You must be a great teatcher" "I'm just trying to make her sacrifice worth something"Kanan said swallowing his tears. "Aren't you then worth her sacrifice?" Styles asked. And then neither could hide their tears anymore. And maybe they didn't want to hide them. Hera hadn't seen him cry. None of the crew had seen him cry. She had seen Kanan shout and swear, but never in that kind of harsh way. And after that he didn't shut it out. He wasn't the stable himself, but it was like Hera was looking at someone completely different person.
