*JungKook's POV*
"Jungkook, gwenchana?"

"Can you see Noona?"

"Jungkook, do you know who this is?"

The voices of Eomma and Noona engulfed my ears the minute I woke up.

I just hope, that was just a bad dream. Yeri isn't missing or away. She's probably at home now, sleeping soundly.

A nightmare was all that is.

"Eomma." My voice came out in a rasp.

Noona rushed to get me a glass of water.

The cold liquid soothed my throat.

"Yeri... Where is she?" I asked.

Noona's eyes widened while Eomma looked away.

"Noona, Yeri, where is she?"

She parted her lips but nothing came out.

The door clicked open, "Yeobu... You should go to Yeri's Eomma, she's been crying since earlier-"

Eomma slapped her hand over Appa's mouth.

He pushed it away, "What are you doing? We need to help out with the preparations, how could we not know of this till now? She was like a Daughter to me..." His tone was down unlike his usual bright, chirpy one.

"Appa"

He jumped and looked at me.

"JungKook ah, you're awake."

"Who were you talking about, Appa? What's it got to do with Yeri's Eomma?"

He shook his head, "My Son, how are you feeling?" He tried to change the topic.

"Appa, who were you talking about?"

Eomma held tears in her reddened eyes, covering her mouth with her handkerchief while Noona brought her out of the room.

Appa let out a huge, long sigh.

"JungKook, I'm going to tell you something that may be of a blow to you."

I frowned, "What is it?"

There was a long pause.

He ruffled his hair, "Yeri..."

He cut himself off.

He took another deep breath, "Yeri... Yeri... She's.. No longer with us."

I stared with a poker expression.

"Appa, it's not funny."

"JungKook, you have to calm down."

"I am calm. You shouldn't joke about Yeri like that."

"JungKook" His eyes softened.

I shook my head, "I saw her yesterday, we were in the fields, spending time together, we watched the sun set... I watched the sun set..." A tear fell onto my hand.

------

Appa sighed, "Your Eomma told me not to say anything to you, we didn't expect you to be awake so soon..."

I remained silent.

"It was brain cancer. They found out a few weeks ago." He explained.
