A Year Has Gone Since I last Saw You

Natsu POV

I looked down at the objects I had nocked out of the bag. One of them was the stuffed dragon I had gotten Lucy for her birthday, the other two were minimized pictures. I picked them up and looked at them. One was a picture of Me, Happy, Gray, Erza, Levy, Gajeel, Juvia, Pantherlily, the master, and a few others, and the other picture was just me standing there with my fist on fire. "Natsu hand me the undergarments then i'm gonna need you to come in and help me the rest of the clothes." Sassy said from inside the tent, "Kay i'm comin'." I replied as I put the stuff back in her backpack. I handed Lucy's undergarments to Sassy, then waited outside for Sassy to say I can come in. It took a few minutes before I could come in. As I entered the tent I kept my eyes to the floor, then turned around to zip up the door. "There's no point in keeping your eyes shut or poiting elsewhere, because your I need you to pay attention to what your doing so that way we can get her dressed before she catches a cold." Sassy said as she to Lucy's clothes out of my hand. I turned around to help Sassy put Lucy's clothes on, and saw that lucy was just in her bra and underwear. I sat next to Lucy and help Sassy put on the clothes, "Why did you need me to help you put on her clothes? I mean you seamed to have taken her clothes off just fine without me." I asked as I was putting lucy into her knee length nightgown, "Taking clothes off is a lot easier than putting them on." Sassy replied. I nodded and finished helping put Lucy into her PJ's, then I went outside the tent to get the water that had been in a pot over the pire, and brought it into the tent, with a small towel. Sassy had left me in the tent to clean Lucy's cuts. After I was finished I took the pot out of the tent, then went back in to watch over Lucy.

1 day later

Lucy had been asleep for one day already, and I was starting to get worried. "Don't worry Natsu she'll be fine, she's just very tired because she hasn't slept in days." Sassy reassured me. I nodded then looked and Sassy and asked, "By the way, I was gonna ask you this yesterday but I forgot. What were ya doing out here?"

"We were looking for you." Sassy began, "When Lucy found that note on her table saying that you had left to go train for a year, she started crying, the ran out of the house and started searching for you. When she couldn't find you anywhere in Magnolia, she came back to the house and started packing. After she was done packing we headed over to the guild to tell them that we were gonna go try and find you, and train at the same time, but when we got to the guild master said that he was disbanding the guild..." I cut off sassy, "Wait he disbanded the guild? Why?"

"We don't know why, but before master could finish what he was saying Lucy walked away without telling anyone where she was going. So on our journey to find you we had searched city after city, till one night we were staying at an inn, and lucy couldn't sleep as always. So she decided to go stand out on the balcony, and that's when she saw a huge explosion of red off in the distance, on a mountain. Naturally she thought it was you so we decided to head out that night. "We searched everywhere, till yesterday, where we had camped in the forest, but Lucy couldn't sleep so she decided to go sit next to the fire, and she was also holding the stuffed dragon that you had gotten her. I think she was about to just give up hope. The next morning we headed out again, but Lucy's head was in the clouds, so she tripped on a twig. She was laying on the ground when I noticed that she was crying. I tried comforting her when she screamed she screamed so loud that ya heard it, and also the birds, and animals started scampering and flying away. "Then while she was screaming, I don't know why it happened but it did. While she was screaming this huge light surge of her powers came out of her and took out a couple of yards of trees and rocks. When she saw what had happened she took off running while still crying. But when she had tripped she started muttering stuff..." I interjected, "What did she mutter?" I asked while I looked at Lucy's sleeping form. "When she tripped she started saying stuff like: Why did you leave me? I miss you so much, i'm always so cold, I can't sleep at night because i'm so cold, I can't sleep at night because your not next to me keeping me warm. Will I ever see you again?" On the last part Sassy started crying, and so did Happy. Sassy left the tent and Happy followed her. I zipped up the door to the tent, and sat back down next to Lucy.

Some of Lucy's hair had covered part of her face. I pushed her hair off to the side, then bent down and gently kissed her on the forehead. I felt her slightly shudder underneath me, then she curled up into a ball. I looked at her, then gently pushed back the blankets, and laid next her. I put my arms around her waist, and as I did that I felt her bare skin. I looked over her shoulder and saw that her nightgown had moved up to right underneath her chest. I laid back down and gently pulled her against my chest. Now her back was touching my chest. As we laid there I could feel Lucy relax against my body. As I held her against me she started to stir. Lucy started to turn around in my arms. One of her hands moved to sit on my stomach, then it gently started to move up my chest, to my face where she caressed my cheek. With hand on my cheek, her legs started moving, then they wrapped around my legs. With her legs tangled with my legs, her and on my cheek, she then leaned her head into my chest and took a deep breath.
