A Year Has Gone Since I last Saw You

She wakes up

Natsu POV

Another day has gone by since Lucy bumped into me. Happy and I have still been training while Sassy looked after Lucy. Happy and I were on our way back from training, when Sassy came flying out of no where screaming, "Natsu! I think Lucy's having a nightmare because she's sweating a lot and she's keeps saying your..." Sassy was cut off with a scream coming from where the tent was, "NATSU!" I heard Lucy scream my name again. When I reached the camp site I ran to the tent, and opened it. I saw that Lucy was drenched in sweat, and was shaking. I stepped in the tent and zipped up the door so Sassy nor Happy could come in. I uncovered Lucy, then took off her sweat drenched nightgown. Now Lucy laid there in just her undergarments. I took off my sweaty shirt, then laid down beside her. "Shh, i'm here." I held her to me to try and stop her shaking. After she had calmed down I kissed her forehead, which made her wrap her arms around my waist, and her legs around my legs. We laid there in the tent without a blanket so I could cool her down. While laying there with Lucy I had fallen asleep.

Maybe 2 hours later

When I woke up I looked around me and saw the door to the tent zip up a tiny whole that was showing. 'Really you two' I sighed, and felt something very light on my chest. I pulled my eyes away from the door to look at my chest and saw a blonde head girl laying on me. I didn't notice that I was holding her against. I looked at her sleeping figure on me. Her hands were above her head, and were laying in between my neck and shoulder. Her head was laying right in the middle of my chest. Her right leg was bent and laying next to my side, while her other leg was stretched out against my leg. While I was looking at her I noticed that she was in just her undergarments, then it all came back to me "That's right, I forgot that I had stripped her out of her sweaty clothes." I muttered. As I held Lucy, I could feel her stirring, then she moaned. Her legs went strait, while her arms stretched above my head. When she stopped stretching, her hands landed in my hair. Her hands scraped through my hair, then Lucy's head slowly lifted off my chest. Lucy sat up, and straddled me. Her eyes were closed as she raised her arms above her head stretching. She yawned then opened her eyes. Lucy looked around herself then looked at me. She sat there staring at me, then she noticed I had no shirt on. Her eyes went huge as she saw that she was only in her bra and underwear. Lucy gasped then jumped off me, and covered herself with the blanket. "Lucy?" I asked while sitting up and crossing my legs, "N-Natsu?" She stuttered, then out of the blue she slapped me. "OW! What was that for?" I exclaimed while holding my cheek. When I looked back at Lucy I saw that she was crying, "Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed through her tears, as she shot towards me. Lucy wrapped her arms around my neck, and sobbed into my neck, "Why did you leave?" She sobbed, "I'm sorry Luce, if I had known you were gonna do this I might of brought you along." I wrapped my arms around her and buried my nose in her hair. "What do you mean by 'might'?" Lucy asked as she pulled away and looked me strait in the eye, "I said 'might because the reason why I didn't bring you along was because you would have distracted me." I replied while hugging her tighter, "Distracted you how?" She asked while I could feel a few tears trickle down onto my neck. "Your smell, and other stuff. You see I couldn't of trained to smell smells from a far, far away distance if you were there, with your Strawberry Vanilla sent." I felt Lucy nod against my neck, "I missed you so much." Lucy lifted her head, to look at me. We gazed into each others eyes, when Lucy slowly inched toward me, and kissed my cheek. She pulled away just inches, then she kissed the corner of my mouth. While her lips were still inches away from the side of my mouth, I turned my head just a little bit, and our lips grazed each other. Lucy pulled away about two inches, and looked at me. I slowly moved in and gently put her my lips on top of hers but not fully kissing. It was as if I was asking 'is this okay', and she responded by fully pushing her lips against mine. As we kissed, Lucy put her hands flat on my chest. When her hands were on my chest, the blanket that she was holding had fallen around her. One of my hands moved down to the small of her back while the other hand moved into her hair. Lucy's fingers gently scraped up and down, starting from the middle of my stomach, across my abs, then onto my chest. Then her hands traveled up, around my neck then onto the sides of my face. Lucy pulled away, and looked at me. She had a slight pinkness to her cheeks, "Was that your first?" I asked her, she nodded with her cheeks turning a bit red. I grinned then got up, and walked over to the door. I unzipped it half way then stuck my head out, and yelled "Hey happy! Sassy! She's awake!"
