Part 2: After He Knew

After Margo told Harry everything, he didn't know what to say. They sat in silence for so long, Margo isn't sure what time it is.

"Im sorry." Harry starts off with, "I shouldn't've taken you there. They aren't the best people."

"It's not your fault." Margo replies automatically.

"Margo, if only I'd known—"

"Known what? That I was raped for seven years by older men? Or that I'm not as rough and tough as you thought?"

"I just wish tonight didn't happen." Harry says.

"Me too."

"I'm sorry."

"I know."

After a while, Harry went home. Margo didn't feel as lonely as she had before. Someone else knew about her, and she had mixed emotions about it. She didn't tell him about how her father met his fate, though. That would be saved for any other time.

Margo went through the next day as if in a daze. November air wafted through her apartment from the open window and would remind her that change is coming. She trusts Harry. She isn't sure why, but she does.

Days passed and Margo's website crashed only once. She even had to call up her business partner to work on restocking the website. All this working got her mind off the past few days.

The days pass and Harry comes over sporadically. They begin to fully trust each other.

That's all that's really needed now.
