Last night, I finally got the courage to text you that I missed you. Not email you, but to actually text you. I didn't try to sugar coat anything in that text. It was just a straight up "I miss you". It didn't include any emojis or punctuation marks, it was just straight to the point.
You don't know how long it took for me to press send. My finger hovered over that button for twenty minutes. I stared at my bright white phone screen for twenty minutes contemplating whether or not I should press send.
After I pressed send, I did what I always do after texting you. I ran my hands over my face awaiting you response.
You see, that's the thing though.
You didn't respond.
