Alejandro POV
--------------------
"Welcome to Landau University. We're happy that you chose LU instead of the other ones within the state and nation Mr. Alejandro Carter."
I rose up from the chair in front of Dean Emerson Leto's desk and firmly shook his hand.
"In all honesty Dean Emerson, LU seemed to scream for my attention. And I'm happy to be here too."
"Well now that this is finished here, go to your counselor, Mrs. Nettles. She will guide you here from now on."

Ok, so I have my classes in order and my papers. Only thing left to do is check into my apartment dorm with two other people I have yet to meet.
I left the main admission building and got into my new car. A black Honda straight from the lot.
10 minutes later I was in front to the apartments and went towards my dorm. Drake Hill, third floor, room 3028.
I walked into the main door. It seems like a shared living room and kitchen with the other utilities. The appearance of the space was masculine and bachelor like. Leather chairs and a huge flat-screen TV. Video games and DVDs lined up on the walls around and under the entertainment set. Not to bad.
While examining the collection of items in the apartment, two doors open. The far right and center.
"You must be our new roommate. I'm Devon and this is Brad." He introduced.
Devon was taller than the both of us and had muscles. He must be a jock, football or something. And Brad must be the brains. Same height as me but he wore glasses and had a loose tie around his neck.
We all did some bro-fists and said some ground rules.
"First of all," Devon started, "if you wanna bring a girl over, tell us a day in advance.. And that's about it."
"Really?" I muttered.
"No. There's more." Brad said as he hitted Devon's arm. "Also if you cook, break, or mess stuff up, you gotta clean it." Brad finished.
"Okay than. I'll be back."
Brad and Devon went back into their rooms while I left to get all my stuff from the hotel room I've lived at since I moved here. Which has only been a few weeks, a month at least.
I got in my car and drove off. I really can't believe it, I'm starting off fresh for the better.

School has been the best experience I have had in a really long time. And LU semester so far has only been five weeks. And I'm used to the program by now. Walking up at 7 in the morning and meeting the boys by 2 for a late lunch in the cafeteria every Monday and Thursday.
College and campus life with Americans isn't as bad as my friends in UK would think. And in actuality it was much better than the best universities there.
Instead of two hour sessions in class, there were only an hour long. The rec center was huge and had plenty of shifts to apply for. The campus food wasn't nearly bad and plus there were still extra pubs and restaurants in walking distance. I should've had a plan to move here ages ago.
Today was Thursday and I had no classes today, but I still had some work to do. First I'll do some online work then proceed to the textbooks. Ok than, Chem 101 and then a Literature essay outline online with 20 minute breaks in between and end that part with an hour break. Seems easy.
I grabbed my laptop and went to work.
After I finished all my work it was already pass one in he afternoon. I took a quick shower before meeting up for lunch.
When I walked up to the cafe, Devon and Brad was already there. We nodded heads and we strolled in there. After we all got our tray-filled lunch, we talked.
"How was classes Brad?" I asked.
"The usual, the teacher was late again and that shit pisses me off." We all groaned in agreement. "But at least he is giving us less work."
"Why is that?" I wondered.
Devon raised his hand to tell us to wait. He finished one of his three burgers and said, "There's a game is weekend."
"And.. There's a game every other week. What makes this one so different?"
"Its against our state rivals, the Spartans at UNL." Brad said.
"Oh, ok." I mummered.
"Its gonna be a good victory for us this year, if and when we win. So as the roommates of the star line-backer, yall have to come. No whats, ifs, ands, or buts."
"My intentions were to be there anyway. I have to take pictures for the newsletter and website for my journalism work."
"What other choice do I have left?" I said as I finished off my first plate of lunch.
We continued eating lunch with an easy conversion til we all left.
As we headed as separate ways, I left back home to finish my conclusion for my essay. Eh, good ol' college nights.
