07 Ghost - Frau x Reader x Mikage - New life, one more time.

05 Chapter - How it started

Present:
I don't know if it was because I told Teito my past but this night I've dream of Mikage, and how we've meet. How I begun to feel in love with him little by little... 

Past:
When I opened my eyes a terrible pain shot through my head. If I was to put a color on this pain it would be white, blank. I didn't know anything, who I was, where did I came from.. where was I. I heard a soft sound, using all my remaining strength I sat down. At the end of the bed, a little blond haired boy was sleeping soundly. Somehow, his little form reassured me. I could feel that it was warm. Reaching out my hand I stroked his hair, they were messy and yet soft.
At this very moment he woke up, still dazed he looked up at me. His bright brown eyes shone and he got up near me. A smile spread across his face he put his hand on the blanket which was covering my leg. "You're awake! Good morning!" His beaming smile and his greeting calmed me down, somehow it was as warm as being in the sunlight. My pain and my problem vanished at this moment. "M-morning... " This unknown boy took out my hand. "I'm Mikage, nice to meet you." I nodded, I could understand his saying but why did his words seems so unfamiliar... "I'm... huh.. I don't..." Then again I tried my hardest to remember, what is my name? Why can't I... "Hey? Are you alright? Does it hurt somewhere? I'll call my dad!" Hanging up my head in both of my hand I tried to calm down.. W-who I am... why... mom...dad...

"You lost your memories. I'm Karein Celestine, this little boy's dad. You still need some rest young girl. It may be hard..." As if it was his own pain the man in front of me talked about how I'm amnesic. Judging from my look I may be 5 years old he said. He wore a worried face and yet he was so gentle with me. Mikage behind him looked at me and seemed apologizing for making me hurt from his non delicacy toward me. "I understand.. maybe after some rest I'll be alright."
Maybe I was raised to be a good child, but somehow I knew that I mustn't put trouble on this man and his son. "You're such a grown up for a little kid." Patting my head and helping me to get back in the bed the man left. When I thought I was alone, I couldn't retain me anymore.
My tears fell and I clutched my hand bitting my own lips... Why couldn't I remember anything? Why do I felt like there's something I must do... So why couldn't I remember who I am? 
"Help.. please someone tell me... I don't want to be left... Where are you all..."

"I'm here." Something warm patted my back, I turned around and an troubled Mikage got on the bed hugging me. "I-.. I'm here you're not alone." Sobbing against him I screamed out my pain. He just hugged me and didn't say a word. But I just knew that I wasn't alone. "I'll stay with you so.." Peeking at my face he smiled one of those brightest smile for which he's so talented. 

When I opened up my eyes he was sleeping soundly near me, the blanket cover both of us. A young kid was near the bed reading a big book where I believed it was written 'Butler'. He put his finger to his lips for me to not wake up Mikage. I nodded and slipped off the bed to sat at the edge. He didn't look that much older than us. "I'm Kokuyou, Mikage's big brother. Your eyes are swollen, I won't say anything." He handed me a cup of hot milk. "It will ease you." I took a sip and this warm aroma filled my mouth. "When dad put you in the bed with Mikage he saw your necklace." At his word I looked down and a simple necklace was hanging around my neck. A name was engraved in, it wasn't in the same langage as what was written on the book. "(Last Name)... (Name)...." Almost murmuring those two words, tears fell down. "I'm.. (Last Name) (Name)." I couldn't show any proof I was to be asked, but I knew, it's my name. As if a charm appeared Mikage lift his head from the bed. "(Name) huh? It's a pretty name, the first time I heard it."

Afterwards the Celestine Family proposed me to live with them in the Oak's estate as long as I didn't represented any problem for them, the Oak, Wakaba-san authorized me to stay. I was able to go to school thanks to the church in the town. Mikage would attend lesson for being a butler with Kokuyou.

"(Name)! Let's play!" Mikage shouted to me, I was sitting near a tree with an history book. "Stop studying, you're doing enough in school! Dad is worried about you!" I sighed and put the book on the ground and ran up to Mikage. "Stupid, I do it because I like it! I-I'm not working as much as you..." He laughed and handed me the ball, I kicked it off and we would start to play.

I sold out my dress for a big prize. I wanted to give back this money to the Celestine Family, to Mikage. The only thing I've keep was the necklace, it was in a langage that the Celestine Family didn't know, or so. Karein-san asked me to keep it hidden.
 I was feeling like a big sister since our family grew bigger. We would always play together, even though Mikage was sometime busy with his study. When he didn't want to study anymore he would take my hand and we would run away to the nearest hill and stargazing until late in the night.

"Kohaku, Mikage! Stop sparring with sword... Ugh why boys are always so..." Rinka squeezed my hand as she was worried, I tried to stop them but they had so much fun. "Don't worry Rinka, they're only playing around."
Mikage waved his hand at us, he was such a kid. I sighed, for how long did I began to love every side of him? When I averted my eyes for a moment the accident happens. A scar on his face, Kohaku felt really responsible even though Mikage told him that it was okay.

"So you're going to the military school Mikage?" We're 14 years old and it was at night in the same place where we would stargazing. He nodded. "Yes, I wasn't suited for being a butler anyways. I prefer much more to battle and fight for us." I looked up at the star and couldn't stop but feel worried. The war with the Raggs Kingdom ended up a long time ago, Basburg was in peace but the military is still dangerous right? A lot of soldier still die. "You're making such a worry face (Name), stop worrying. I promise I won't let you alone right? I'll stay with you..."
His golden brownish eyes looked straight at me, as if he as reading my mind and reaching out for my soul. "I know.. but I can't stop being worried.. Mikage.. y-..you're so important to me."

"You're such a worrywart, but I'm happy. To be an important person to you. (Name), you know I... I'll become a soldier, I'll protect you.. because..." He leaned forwards me, I longed for those words. "I love you." As if he already knew my answer he leaned in for a kiss. When our lips meet he squeezed my hand, after a few kisses he would put his head on my shoulder. "It's been a long time, when I stopped looking at the star, because mine was already here." I blushed and took a breath. "I love you too Mikage, from such a long time." Squeezing back his hand I looked up at the star. "I'll be praying for your success, and I'll be waiting for you to come back. Then let's go on a lot of date?" He tackled me on the grass for a loving hug. "Of course, we're lovers after all!"

When Mikage was gone to school he would always sent me letter and I would answer back to him. On holidays he would fly to meet me and talked to me a lot about his best friend Teito. From time to time I was being jealous, his best friend was such a good person and he would always bragged about him. Did he forget that I was his girlfriend?
"There is no way I would forget. (Name), I was dying of envy to see you." Those sincere words and his hugs always make those thought disappear immediately. His carefree and kind-hearted smile always charm people around him. "You know, I think you look like Teito, I can't let you alone. It was what I thought back then. So I won't forget our promise..." A ring in his hand he would put it on my finger. "Would you be my fiancé? I can't think of someone else than you. It's always being you. I love you."

Present:
I looked at my finger where the ring I used to wear was supposed to be. "There is no way you would forget huh... but as long as you're here, I'm happy enough, I'll just try to win your heart."
Ah right, my name was written in Raggs langages.. that is way Karein-san asked me to keep it a secret. He had trust me.
