My father had just dropped me off at the new school in Oklahoma, town of Coolwater. The school's name was Sanchez Lake High School. It was day one of a miserable ninth grade experience. I loved it back in Puerto Rico where everyone hated me. Everyone called me names because I was different from what they would usually do. And most guys would stare at me because, for some reason, they thought I was very sultry. And the girls hated what I did. They thought I was a major threat to them because one of the girls thought I kissed her boyfriend Joseph King.

Anyways, I headed toward to the main office. The woman behind the desk looked at me and said,'' You must be our new student, Kimmie Hudson. To your left the secretary has your schedule.''  I said nothing, just followed her poor directions but they did help me. The secretary wasn't even a grown women, just a teenager. She painted her nails and didn't even bothered to look at me. I did what I had to do,'' Miss, give me my schedule!'' She just gawked at me like a zit just popped right up on the tip of her chin.'' Excuse me!'' ''You're excused! I asked for my scedule! I'm the new student, Kimmie Hudson.!'' I exclaimed, all up in her face. '' You're the new girl...you're so alternative.'' She obviously poinnted out. '' Just give me my schdule,'' I said.  ''Fine, here,'' She handed me the piece of paper that read 'Kimmie Hudson''' if it'll make you go away.''

I snatched the paper from her hand and left the nearest exit. The lite up hallyways were quiet. The grey lockers stood with no students hanging around them and no commotion. I headed to the class number that had 245 Mr. Rogers. That was Pre-Calculus, an eleventh grade math class. I took a deep breath and opened the smooth wooden door, and the students and the teacher glanced at me. ''Well, hello, Ms. Hudson. Nice of you to join us.'' Mr. Rogers welcomed me.'' Hmmm... you're a ninth grader.'' '' It's not like math's difficult anways. Now, where do I sit?''I asked, glaring at all the gawking eleventh graders. He looked around and saw an empty seat in the second row. The middle desk that sat next to a blondde girl in glasses(right side) and on the other side, a strawberry blonde on the other side. I sat down and waited for ther class to end.

After  the second period class( Pre-Calculus), next was the journalism class. This time I picked my own seat. The first row, closest to the door. All the other students stared at me, till I gave them the evil eye for a second. The bell rang. A girl walked in with designer clothes and some other twits tagged along with her. She turned to me and  asked,'' Excuse me, why are you in my seat?'' '' Well, it doesn't have your name on it, now does it?'' I snapped back. She raised one eyebrow. '' I'm sorry, are you speaking to me like that?" I smirked,'' Ya' damn right.'' My eyes rolled. The teacher walked in. '' Excuse me, no arguing with new student.'' The girl walked away and found a new seat in the back of the class. Next the teacher had introduced me to the whole class like I was back in the third grade. During my introduction, a boy with black hair had walked, and he was terribly cute. ''Well, hello Mr.Rodriguez, do you have a pass?'' The teacher asked. He handed him a piece of computer paper that was the 'pass'. He looked at me in the eyes and sat down in the seat next to mine.
