Chapter 5: Kept Holding On

I hold on to Josh longer. I soon looked up at him.

He put my hair behind my ear and kissed me for 2 seconds.

I wiped away the tears and headed downstairs.

My mouth opened wide.

Olivia!!! I yelled.

It all went to silence.

Argh! Party pooper! Olivia said.

I got so mad I actually jumped over the counter and tackled her.

Soon Josh came down.

Olivia went straight behind him.

Josh protect me. Olivia said.

Get away from me. Josh said shoving her away.

Josh? She said.

Olivia got so angry she tackled me and Josh tried to pull her away but she wouldn't budge.

Soon the party was over. I got scratches all over my face.

I put my brother to bed and I went on the couch, put my face in my hands and started crying. Josh sat next to me and pulled me close.

He turned on NCIS for us to watch.

My phone rang and my aunt called to babysit my brother Eli for tomorrow.

I know Josh tried to protect me but we also kissed! I think that's more than a friend. I thought.
