"Hello!?!" I scream at the top of my lungs "Somebody help me!".

I clutch my stomach trying to stop the blood that was currently spilling out at an alarming rate.

"Somebody, Please help!" I yell again but the only thing that can be heard is my strained voice echoing through the schools empty halls.

Someone in a black hood and Halloween mask had just attacked me in the gym. They appeared from the shadows, rushing towards with a knife in hand. Catching me off guard, they forcefully stabbed my abdomen three times causing me to tumble to the ground.

Attempting to strike me a fourth time I swung my leg out, kicking them hard. They fell to the ground giving me enough time to stand and run. I burst through the gym doors and put some distance between me and my attacker but had dropped my phone in the panic.

Running as fast as I could through the hallways I try opening every class room door I came up to, trying to get to a phone but they were all locked. I hear footsteps not too far behind me and try to pick up the pace but the pain in my abdomen was growing stronger.

Come on Will, Keep going.

My shirt was now almost completely drenched in blood, I was running out of time and options.

I loop back around to the gym and hesitate at its entrance. Peaking through the glass window I check to see if the attacker was in there but don't see anyone.

The gym was poorly lit and that psychopath could still be lurking in there but that's where my phone was and right now that was my only chance of getting help. I quietly open the door and race over to my gym bag leaving a trail of my blood across the gyms hardwood floor.

I could hear it ringing softly, buried beneath my basketball jerseys and other belongings. Reaching my bag, I throw my hand in and hurry to answer it before being caught.

"Ugh he didn't answer. Will's always blowing us off." Brooke says annoyed.

"He's probably on his way over right now, don't freak out. You know how important getting a scholarship is for him." I say defending Will's lack of communication but fail to convince her.

"Whatever. His friends should be important too." She says with attitude.

The car ride over to Brooke's didn't take long and as soon as we pulled into her long driveway she was instantly out of the car and rushing to her front door.

"I guess someone's excited to watch a scary movie. " Noah says pointing out Brooke's eagerness to get inside.

"That or she's excited for the vodka." I joke and we laugh.

I spot Kieran and Emma getting out of Kieran's truck and wave to them. Since they had started dating, they hadn't really hung out with the group that much. It was probably a little awkward for them because Emma had dated Will for so long. He would never admit it but I think Will still had a thing for her.

"You know what you want to watch tonight?" Noah asks as he turns off his car.

"How about The Visit?" I suggest and he frowns.

"The found footage genre is dead. The Visit made sure of that." Noah states his opinion as fact but I totally disagree.
