"Fun" Flight

Y/n's PVO:

I just got past security in the Chicago international airport... It's 2:17 in the morning. I yawn, dead tired and ready to take my flight back to London. I walk to the flight times, I peer at it.

My eyes widen, I rub them and look closer, my flight is delayed for two hours... You've got to be kidding me. I sigh angrily and trudge to my gate to wait.

I slump in a seat next to someone in a comfy looking hoddie, seemingly in the same mood. I give them the once over, their hood covers most of their face other than their nose that you can see slightly.

I tiredly think to poke them to ask if I can use their shoulder as a pillow but my mind shuts down and my eyes close. I'm out.

??? PVO:

I feel something on my shoulder, I look over to see a girl sleeping on me. They look so peaceful.... I chuckle and lean slightly to grab the tag on her bag, her name is... I flip it over.. Y/n!

I sigh and shake my head before checking my watch, 2:29. Great. I look over at her again. I study her face slowly, she's definitely lovely. I facepalm, why am I flirting with a sleeping girl?!  I groan, internally scolding myself before finally giving in and resting my head on hers, falling asleep quickly.

Y/n's PVO:

I shuffle and open my eyes, it's close to light out, but the sky is just a light gray. I feel something leaning back on me and I slowly move my head to see the stranger I had slept on...

My face turns redder by the second, oh no he's hot! His hood slipped off his head and now his brown hair sticks every where. I look for his luggage and see the ID tag, I grab and look at it... His name is London?

Wait wrong tag, I grab the other tag and look.

"Tom."

He shuffles and opens his dark eyes slowly, "Hmm?" I drop the tag, "Sorry! Nothing!" He sits up fully and blinks a few times, "Time?" I look to the clock in the hall, "3:56, we have till 4:30."

Tom nods and wraps an arm around me before falling asleep again, "Wake me up when we have to board." I blink and blush more, "I- um sure!"

He smiles at me before nodding off and I smile back. This is going to be awkward... I grab out my phone and open wattpad, might as well read.

Still y/n's PVO:

I shake tom awake, "We're boarding." He rubs his eyes and nods, "Thanks." I grin and grab my ticket, getting into line. He stays back to get his stuff so I board the plane.

I sigh a little, too bad he won't be next to me for the flight... I put my bags in the compartment and sit by the window. I can't wait to be done with all this.

I hear the compartment close again and a chuckle, "Guess we're going to be together for a while y/n." I whip around to see tom grinning at me tiredly.

"How did you know my name?" He sits down, "Magic!" I roll my eyes, "You looked at my tag didn't you." He nods, "You looked at mine." I blushed a little, "Is that a crime?" He shakes his head, "Probably not."

We sit in silence for a few minutes and the plane starts, I'm going to miss America and my friend that I had lived with for this trip.

Tom's PVO:

The plane lands and we wait to leave, I get out and grab my stuff, slowly leaving the plane. Y/n rushed past me as I stop. I turn on my heel and catch her wrist, "Hey! Wait up!"

She turns to look at me, "Yeah?" I flush a little and rub the back of my neck, "I- I was wondering if you wanted to go the movies some time."

Y/n just stands there and I'm waiting to be rejected before she grabs out a sticky note, "Here call me, I'll be free on Friday night." She hands me the sticky note before waving and running away.

The blush sits in my face and I watch her leave, "I've got to call her soon..."
