Chapter 2

»Keen's POV«

"The name's Adon." The boy with the perfect hair and beautiful eyes said. He was tall for his age, about a head taller than me (but to be fair, for my age, I was slightly below average). We got to know each other very well as compared to the other boys.

After about a week at the boys home, I realised that some of us were parting, like they were rarely seen at the block we were at. I got to know some people and got their trust easily (I mean, I looked so innocent it would be hard not to like me,lol). As some of us talked, we were trying to see what each other had in common, and we all realised something, we all were born with powers.

We didn't really see much of the other people, those that were in the second block. Maybe it was because they didn't like us, maybe it's because they are different, we'll never know, but what we did know, was that living in the boy's home was tough. It consisted of a lot of physical training and learning. While the learning was fun, the physical training was pretty damn horrible.

FINALLY SIX YEARS WERE GONE, WE COULD FINALLY GET OUT OF HERE!! That took forever but I did make friends and maybe enemies I don't know and I don't really care. But the boy's home gave us each a letter, a letter that would send us to different schools, fun on one hand, but devastating on the other. We had to leave our friends that we grew up with, which was sad. I opened mine and it said "Xavier School for the gifted". I looked over at Adon's letter, and it said the same thing. I was so excited to go to the same school as Adon, mainly because he was my closest friend but still. Just as I was walking out of the school gate, he stopped me and asked if he could have a word with me in private and I gave him a confused look but in the end still followed him.

We went to the benches and talked about how the school term was going to start soon and how we were most likely going to be judged. He looked so scared when we talked about this and he showed a side of him that was so vulnerable and afraid, nothing like his usual self. Usually he would be strong, I mean, he is very muscular and all. I stared into his eyes and said," It'll be alright. I mean, you have me. Wait. That sounds so wrong I am so sorry you had to hear that." After saying that I turned red immediately. He chuckled and replied,"Well, I do have you by my side now." We stared at each other for a moment, completely losing ourselves in each other's eyes. He suddenly pulled me in and pressed his lips softly against mine. After awhile, I finally pulled away, in time to see a blushing red face turn away into another direction. I felt so many emotions come out of that small kiss. "Well.... What was that?" I laughed, making the situation a lot more awkward than it already was. He stood up first and helped me up. "So.... you got a place to stay until school starts?" He asked me. "Kinda. If it isn't torn down that is..Wanna..uhh.. stay there until the semester starts?" I asked him. He nodded and he took my hand and we went off.

When we finally got to the large white house, we stepped in and immediately got blown away. It was filled with beautiful furniture and an amazing television, we went to the kitchen and saw that it was stocked with food. Suddenly, a voice was heard. "Gothi? Gothita!!!" We turned and what stood there was a tiny Pokemon, about half a meter. It had a big head that had three bows, both on each sides of the head and one tying up the hair. It's lips were red and they looked like they were about to kiss something or someone. It's eyes were gigantic and brownish. I recognised her as Gothita. She immediately ran to me and pounced up onto me. She squealed and ran into the long hallway, soon coming with a larger pokemon. She looked like she had a black dress and was petite. She had a head that resembled a candy in wrapper. "Gothitelle?" She noticed me and immediately came to me with tear filled eyes.

It was about 0000 and me and Adon were on the couch watching television. I felt very tired and rested on Adon's shoulder, and soon enough, I fell asleep.
